I remember seeing a website that listed all the E85 stations in Germany. There was something like 385+. I'll see if i can find the link and post it.

Anybody have a stock 8-9 full exhaust? Downpipe all the way to the muffler.

I dont have a cat right now and landlord decided to donate my exhaust to the local metal guy without asking my permission, so she owes me one now. My insp is good until nex aug but it still wont pass without a cat. Right??

Haven’t been on the board in a while, so two unrelated comments;

I’d advise against an E-85 conversion if you’re coming over to Germany. If you think the Evo’s fuel economy is bad in the US, wait until you get to Autobahn speeds. I get as low as 70mi per *tank* (30l /100 km, say 7MPG) when driving fast, so you’re effectively driving from Esso station to Esso station (and you really don’t want to pay local unsubsidized gas prices). I understand E-85 gets even lower distance per tank?

If you’re going to the ring, I’d recommend the Aston Martin V8 ring taxi. 300 Euro (say 400-500 dollars?) for one lap, but you’re in the front passenger seat and I can pretty safely say it’s the fastest you’ll ever go around the ring. The web site has two onboard videos at http://www.nuerburgring.de/angebote/fahrerlebnisse/co-pilot-fahrten/aston-martin-v8-vantage-n24-co-pilot-nordschleife.html
Think of it this way; how much would it cost you if you were trying to drive your own car at those speeds and messed up? In the Aston, assuming you survive the crash (full cage, Hans etc), you just walk away…
