i don´t know how much a email tune is.
Our normal flash costs 850€ for germans. Steffen usually does a better price because of the tax.
if you want something changed later it's free! You just pay one time!
If you start a meeting in Ramstein I come with my Evo and you can test steffens flash. (but not on 15 and 22. Oct)
when someone can´t reaches steffen, contact me.

Wow, so glad I don't have to worry about any tuning issues.
Anyway, some of you might wanna check out http://www.geekmapped.com/ . If you've got a tactrix cable and half a brain most of your issues can be sorted there if you talk to the right person. If you spend enough time on the site you're know whom are the right people to speak to.
I personally have been on the same Mellon Tune since i've bought my car back in '07 and the car has run flawlessly since then. Then again he was cranking out tunes at $50 a pop back then. Don't quite agree with his pricing now but if I had to have a "mail in tune" it would be by him.
Another thing you guys might wanna consider, and I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it before, is flying a tuner over. The Subie guys have done it in the past and the smart thing to do would be to find a tuner that does Subies and Evos, fly them over, have a mass tuning/meet day on one of the bases and call it a day. Everybody wins and gets an awesome road tune. The ideal setup would be to get all the goodies over the winter, fly them over mid spring, plan a Ring trip in there somewhere, and I'm sure it will work out in the end.
Also don't forget there are a lot of good tuners in the Netherlands and UK. The Brits have been in the Evo scene much longer than the US and know a few things about tuning a 4G63. Once again, arranging a tuner to come to Germany and crank out a few tunes shouldn't be that hard. I'm pretty sure Steffen is in contact with someone in the UK for one thing or another.
Anyway....that's my take on the whole situation. Not that I'm much help but if any of you guys need any hard to find parts/services I'm always willing to MPS to ya.
