I talked to Steffen yesterday and he said it will be done this week. He's just waiting on the A/C compressor that I ordered.

I've now seen a total of 6 Evos on base; 2 black, 2 silver an Evo 6 and mine. There's a handful at Ramstein as well, so yeah, we should get together and go the Ring or something.

There's a **** load of Subies on base. Most of em are frequent Ringers. Ever time I'm up there, I see at least 4 or 5 of them from the base.

Is e85 available in GE? what octane gasoline is common there?

 

No e85 isn't available yet. They recently got the e10 mix. 93 octane is what's common.

 

Actually, E85 is available, just not on base. There's an E85 gas station in Landscheid which isn't too far from Spang. There aren't very many though....

 

Do any of you know if the Class 6 on any base near frankfurt has american craft beer? It's kind of a novelty to my relatives and I'm worried about packin beer in my suitcase.

No...and just pack it. I just brought a 12 pack of beer here last month.

 

Not sure, but considering you'll be paying German economy prices, it's probably not something you'll wanna fill up on very often.
