That is too funny. I wasn't aware of the distance. I'm just testing the waters because I might be headed that direction. I currently have a minivan and a 1G DSM. I won't be able to take the DSM to Germany for me as I don't think it's worth the money to ship it. I'll more than likely sell it locally and then look for something else when I get there. I was thinking that maybe an EVO IX or X will be in the picture. More to follow...

Mine was shipped without any issues... but I don't have coilovers, only Swift Sport springs on mine.

My poor car has taken a beating over here. Hah. I need to buy a beater to drive around on a daily basis.

If you are coming now, might want to think about MS rated winter tires. They just passed a new law on the 29th of November that states that you now HAVE to use MS rated winter snow tires here in Germany.

My summer tires will get me in trouble. Haha.

Anyone in Germany selling some 235/45/17 Bridgestone Blizzaks on stock evo rims? Lol. Just a plug.

Welcome though, be ready for Germans to stare at your car like a spaceship.

I had a guy leave a note on my car (stapled in a document protector because it was snowing) stating that if I wanted to sell my car, to give him a call. That was in K-town on Kleber Kaserne. I was there for a class.

Fun times over here though, welcome!

Hahaha.... nice about the note... As for beating, I agree with you. I have been here a little over 6 months, my evo has seen up close and personal with a curb, cracked wind shield on the autobahn (replaced), carport collapsed and damaged fender (landlord replacing), and another chipped wind shield that was filled but still not good enough for inspection. Does anyone know how where I can find a front lip here in Germany, normal stateside orders is not good enough, they will not ship a lip to an APO....booooo. any help would be awesome.

I had Rexpeed send a lip to my physical German address...had to pay a 30 euro tax on it though.

Dude, that was three years ago. It cost the same price to get one shipped to the States, plus the 30-40 euro VAT price. I ordered my lip that way and later on ordered my CF side skirts; both times I paid such-n-such to Rexpeed and 30'ish euro to the delivery guy to cover VAT.
