Driving test is cake. They give you the answers before you take the test.....just pay attention.

 

So I saw a silver Evo 8 with a bunch or decals on it at globus today... Also wanted to know where u guys get the European front license plates for the Evo?

 

European license plates??? ....they issue them to you at inspection.

or are youtalking about the plate holder? I got mine at the dealership in Landstuhl.

 

Yeah the Plate holder! My bad! How much u get it for and does it come with the hardware fOr install such as screws and ****?

Wow im glad I found this thread. My RNLTD is 10june. Im headed to Buchel, which i hear isnt too far from the other bases. The only thing that sucks is ill be in the middle of no where. Lots of good information on here. The only thing that really sucks is I will have to ship my car soon and im real low ( s-techs) and i have an E85 tune as of right now...

 

Mine didn't come with screws, just have the holder. I think it was like 15-20 euro, I can't remember. Hell, I don't even remember if it is for my VIII or my X, it has been sitting in my attic for over a year.

I am selling my 8 though this week...it is easy to spot- got bright orange wheels. Keeping my X.

 

So I failed inspection today!!car was too loud and too low! So looking for a silencer for the exhaust but really dont know what ima do about the height of it.... Maybe buy coilovers.... Any ideas?

 

You need a silencer and try another inspection service station.

I'm officially running and back on the road!

Odd question though...Would a bad MBC cause overboost? My car isn't stopping at it's normal 23 psi :-/ It hit 30 before I realized it yesterday, no damage as far as I can tell luckily, but could it be my MBC? If not, suggestions?

It seems like it's acting as if there isn't a boost controller at all. All the hoses are good...I dunno..

pm me i can help you out man... more than likely the ball is stuck in the MBC. or you ahve somethign installed wrong

 

yeah, the ball is probably stuck. open and clean it out.

If you was closer, I have a Buschur inline lying around here.
