Exclamation Stock boost on an Evo 6/TME?

Just curious, what is the factory boost setting for an Evo 6 and Evo 6 Tommi Makinen Edition? I'm wondering whether my car is boosting more than it should be, since everyone tells me its unusually fast for a stock Evo 6.5... thanks

it sould be 1.1 bar overboost with 1 stable but it's not always the same for every car....
my car (rs2) goes to 1.3 with just an induction and exhaust.
when my car was completly stock i run 1.1 the same boost with my friends TME , but i was faster than him , so it's not only the boost that makes the difference

OK so that's stock boost levels for the TME, how about for a stock Evo 6 GSR?

it sould be the same. the difference is in the turbo. the TME uses the RS-RS2 titanium-alloy turbo and it spins faster , almost 500rpm before the GSR

Are you sure its the same? Because I heard that the Evo 6 RS has higher boost than an Evo 6 GSR. I would imagine that the TME would have the same boost levels as the RS, if not greater.. but if its supposed to be boosting at around 1 bar, then I guess I have a problem with my wastegate actuator, because my TME only boosts between 0.7-0.9 bar. Time for a boost controller?

You have to ask people in the MLR forums about the TME since we do not have it. From what I heard its 1.1 bar, which is 15.95 psi. Get a boost controller if you want to raise the boost. You can raise it to 20psi or around 1.4 bar easy. Anything higher you need to retard timing up top to avoid detonation.

1 bar = 14.7psi
iam sure the standard ecu on the 6.5 cuts out at 1.2 bar
in the 6 only the rs and rsII had the titanium-alloy turbo
with the 6.5 the gsr,rs and rsII had the titanium-alloy turbo
