Sportmobil in Germany

Article in June R&T talks about driving an evo 7 on ice in Moscow. The tuner company that hopped up the evo they drove is called Sportmobil, a recently established dedicated evo tuner. Among the usual rants and raves about the capability of the evo, R&T liked the tranny that sportmobil developed. They call it Sequential Gearshift Management (SGSM). "Desigend by Roustanovitch, the system monitors engine rpm so when downshifting, it automatically matches engine revs to wheel speed. All downshifts are smoother and quieter, and the driver doesn't have to heel and toe. This particular system worked so well that I recommended that he market it in the States." Interesting stuff. Maybe we'll see some sequential trannies from these guys soon.
