Thank you Scheides, my friend, for the info and the link to the pics! Both FP and CBRD have really got the the turbine housing porting down pat. Both companies do such excellent porting work.

It is a humbling experience for me as a shade tree porter to look at those fine examples of impeccable grinding art. Thanks again, and Kudos to Chad Block(CBRD) & Blouch Turbo, as well as to Robert Young at Forced Performance for offering the Evo community such high quality workmanship and products.

Had the owner back in today for some "touchup" on the tune after he went through a couple tanks of E85 to make sure all was good.

Got a little more out of it, very impressed with this turbo, this is great power on our dyno with a stock variant turbo.

+15whp / +34wtq peak gains today, over the tune with E85 before.

Here is an overlay of 3rd gear and 4th gear. Of course it spooled even faster in 4th gear, little more torque and a tad more horsepower.

Solid is 4th, dotted is 3rd.

It is now making +92 wtq over straight 91 octane. Great E85 turbo!

Very nice..I'll be tuning one within the next two weeks on pump..Can't wait to see what it puts down!!

Have you been able to run as agressive of timing with this turbo up top as a stock given the added airflow up top, or is MBTorque and common sense basically the limiting factor??

Wow, this turbo is becoming more and more impressive every day. Great work guys! Must be an animal to drive on the streets on E85. Makes for one hella fun commute! haha.

You will find the turbo allows more room for timing tweaking than other stock appearing turbos. Of course MBT is MBT so.

I believe this one was running 17* out the top.

I am tempted todo it myself, but then i will always worry something isn't quiet right.

+ I can't be screwed to order all the crush washers and gaskets needed

/OT: as you were

mmm efficiency!!! 17* is healthy, not much more power to be had above that but the thing I have seen is a slightly more sustained tq curve up top when you get into the 20's, but really not worth it imho..

What impresses the CRAP out of me ist the power up top..400+ from 6000 to 7600 on your dyno is where it's at man!!! good work..Low 11's in daily driver anyone?

awesome turbo with great results. If I didn't already get a turbo kit, I would have surely got one of these.

Good job CBRD crew!
