Need some help with my Beast

Okay I recently bought an 05 EVO 8 that had a brand new motor with it.

What is the break in period for the motor?

I have bought the following mods for the car but didn't know it I could install all the mods at once then get it tuned. I guess I am afraid to install all of this with a stock flash on the ECU. Is their a way to flash the ECU to accomidate the current mods, and then get it tuned afterwards.

Buschur Racing HTA35R
Buschur Racing FMIC
Buschur Raching Turboback EX
DW 880cc injectors
HKS Superflow intake
APR Headstuds
Walbro Dual Fuel Pumps

I've been thinking Mellon Tunin, from what I've read on here they are awesome.
I need to get this car tuned ASAP.

Is the new motor stock or is it built?? If built, who was it built by?

it was rebuilt by a mitsubishi dealer, the internals are stock. I'm only looking for 380-390hp for now until I get the money for a BR block. Just curious, what is the most I can get out the stock block. I plan on getting a new internals early summer but just wanted to know how far I can push the stock block.

Well, you said you were probably going to have Mellon tune it. Get a hold of him, tell him your mods and install the new map the same time you do the mods. Do NOT attempt to install those mods without reflashing the ECU.

As for the stock motor....the more boost and RPM's you run, the faster it will wear out. There is no guideline for how much HP it will take for how long. I've seen 500whp cars last for for a while and I've seen 400whp sh*t the bed after a couple months.
