Bought an Evo IX!!!!

Hey guys, I've been dying to have an evo for a VERY LONG time now and finally am getting one.

What should I expect for WHP with the following mods:

Buschur Turboback,
after-market O2 Housing (Forgot the brand),
Injen Intake,
AMS FMIC w/ Injen piping,
Cams (duration???),
PTE Injectors (not sure of the size)
ECU Flash

I'll know more when I pick the car up Mon, sorry for being vague.

Thanks guys!

needs a fuel pump - walbro 255 or double pump depending if you want to run e85 or not.. but on 93oct prob 370whp+ with the evo 9 turbo and 400whp on e85.

IX's run a bigger pump than the VIII's right? I don't think one would be needed for the current mod list but it might be nice for added piece of mind.

370 must be for a DJ huh? I've only run on a mustang before and the 300 is what I made with simalar mods with the exception of a stock fmic. Good for 12.4 in the quarter

with 272 in/ex cosworth or kelford, 750 or 750 injectors and a ecu flash will get you about 315 - 320 whp.

evo 9's pump can hold up to 350-360. Evo 8's are less but uncertain of the number.

It's not uncommon to make 360-370whp on a dynojet with 93 and a great tune assuming you have full bolt ons.

With a conservative tune and the mods listed above I'd say you're in the 320whp range @23-24psi.

In order to really determine that, I would say it depends on the O2 housing (Whether or not it's open dump and stuff like that), Injector size (I think stock injectors peak power is around 350whp), size of cams (considering you might wanna go with HKS 272 since valvetrain is not in your list)...the size of your FMIC (might experience lag if too big and less consistency if too small), and what octane you're gonna be tuned on. You're definitely gonna wanna pick up a walbro 255. I would say typically you'll be looking at 310-320whp with that list. Congrats on your new evo and happy modding! I'm pretty new to the game but I have learned a crap ton in the year I've had my evo. If you have any questions at all, feel free to PM me.
