Retune IVEY or DTM

Quick quests and opinions... I am looking for another retune on a ix. The previous owner had the car tuned at DTM in VA. Car put down 330whp and 292 ft/tq with cbe, hfc, dp, and an intake on 21psi. I am looking to add some boost and get an ebc. Question is should I go back to DTM or go to IVEY. I want a safe tune. Is anyone familiar with DTM and IVEY tuning capabalities so I don't get a biased opinion on one tuner? Whats your opinion on my current tune and what is safe boost levels? I figured no more than 23-25psi...

I have an licp and I am getting an o2 housing. I will take your advice and maybe get the fuel pump if its necessary. The rest of those mods do minimal gains and I can do them over time...

ok i would do fuel pump and epm dump tube atleast. dump tube is 19whp and 19 torq over the megan o2 housing. and fuel pump is an excellent upgrade at such a low cost especially if your going to turn up the boost. so do fuel pump atleast if your going to get retuned.

What gains can I expect from ported the exhaust mani or buying an aftermarket? Not to go off topic though,

i would say minimal 5-8whp on a ported one. but since ur doing o2 housing might as well get that done since your right dere. shearer is supposed to give 20whp but cost some money. just do fuel pump and epm dump tube. and retune. u should definitely see 350-360whp after that and getting tuned by ivey. and have ivey set the boost. he'll see what your car likes.

Best thing to do is ask Sean@iveytune. I am not sure why you keep asking what are safe boost levels. You will have varied answers. Some will say 23psi, some will say 27psi is safe enough. Depends on the tune.

Got it. It all depends on the tuner.

Yes thats what you do before you even put a car on the dyno.. Ivey is a stand up guy and he wont throw a car up on the dyno knowing it has issues just to rape you on a tune and then tell your car is messed up.. The car must be sound before it goes on the dyno!!!
