I'm sold on the red.. 400+ on pump was my goal and it seems pretty damn easy.

 

The hp should not be the only thing you want to look at. remember the tq has a lot to do with it.

from my research on all the turbos from stock evo8 to fp red. for a safe fun hp vs tq turbo on low boost no meth i would pick evo 9 turbo. just for the fact that on evo9 turbo i made 400hp and 400tq at 20psi! that to me is safe fun as hell. the fp red really needs 28psi to make it even close to same hp as tq.

hope this helps! im not knocking the FP Red at all i just dont want to see a unhappy evo owner.

I ordered mine already it been 4 weeks and 3 days counting. I hope to get it by at least beginning of April. I plan on dropping the car off at the shop when I go to Miami in the end of April

What is done to the block since you mention it does not have many miles on it? May we get a mod list on the first post? Helps others who just joined. I tried searching block/engine in this thread to no avail.

I believe i had posted this in other threads of mine.

Its a build bottom end i do not know what kind of pistons or anything i just had it build for me and trust my sponsors and shop that they give me the best.

Some people have called it the Mikey Spec Motor.

The head is not ported or over sized. Maybe do that in a few months not sure yet.

Does have springs and retainers just for the reason to rev 8000-9000 with out worrying about something going wrong. - I know you may ask why do you want to rev out so high with small little turbo. Reason being we need it for 4th gear in the 1/4mile we do not want to go into 5th that's a big waste of time.

Also i have not put a built sheet in first post for the simple fact this is a project in the works and not done testing and trying diff parts.

 

The waiting is killing me I have all my other parts ready to go. I even have new summer tires. I spoke to Jimmy briefly about doing meth but I think I'm going to do 93 and race gas maybe in the July I'll do meth. But Damn FP is killing me. I'm not going to Hijack the thread but I spoke to Aneil andhe promised me it would ship out this week. So I guess I'll call again on sat to see what's going on.
