Pete,

You can never 'win' with guys like this. they will nit-pick you to the bone with their opinions and not have the real world experience to back.... Anyone elso who looked at this chart realized it was only scaled to 7k-- and we all know that 35r's can pull another 1500rpm's off with decent power.

Ask the guy to post his dyno sheet and concentrate on the "useable" section of his dyno sheet--not the 3200 boost spike. Then let him figure out what his "useable average hp" is during a 1/4 mile pull-- He can even post a log of a 1/4 mile pass to prove it.

Everyone looks at ryu, fathouse, and mostwanted's cars and thinks that 35r cars are useless unless they are 10sec cars. Untill you feel a t3 evo-- you'll never get to know the pleasure of the power they can produce... Dyno numbers aside, the average streetable, full weight, 35r car puts almost anyone in the 120's on pump.

There will be skeptics for every post in this section.. Just the nature of the beast..
BTW I still think the MD I use reads lower

I had an 03 with exhaust, intake, and fmic make 187 on a stock tune

Imagine how this guy felt lol! Stock boost control FTL

Sorry to go off topic, but yeah, numbers are relative.. Gets really old beating a dead horse every time you guys post a graph I'm sure

I feel you. I am still going to release good information.

For every 2 positive comments, you will receive 1 negative comment. I would love for someone to feel the difference in a 400whp dynojet stock turbo evo compared to this 412whp dynodynamic evo pulling and making power to 9,000rpm

That is roughly how our last baseline on an evo x looked! K&N filter/catback on stock tune made 183whp! The difference was 100whp with our tune though

I'm still trying to get a firm grip on why some MD cars trap 120-135 with the same dyno numbers. i want to better understand the correction factors available... Looks like your MD is in "Buschur mode"..

I was in Iraq for 16 months and I wanted to build my car not only to last longer but to also test the boundaries of the stock ECU.
With the help of DG motors and a great tune by Kreionic we manage to get 412 whp and 340 wtq with a knock count of zero on pump gas.
This is just the 1st tune of many to come as I will be adding a better flowing intake mani and maching throttle body.
Thank you pete for all your help and the shop was top notch and the staff strickly professional and goal oriented.

FYI my car did 11.46@122 with the stock turbo. So like I said take it to the track and prove me wrong. Quit talking numbers and bench racing other peoples cars. It makes you look like a nutswinger hardcore

You posted these #'s up bragging like it was some earth shattering tune, learn to take criticism or find another line of work OP.

Do you want to give some more info on your 11.6@122 pass with the stock turbo? What gas? What weight? How much boost...

I tune my car on a similar dyno like DG's. With 370awhp I manage 11.7s @ 121 weighting 3400 pounds on 25psi on straight 93 octane... And that's with so and so driving and full lift shifts and 1.77 60ft...

These are facts. Now a 412awhp evo with decent driving can definitely hit low 11s and mid 120s... And that's pump with a half sleeping turbo. Not the stock spinning at 30psi or more...

Nevertheless great results! Next month I am building my block and will retune with racegas. Hoping for 460-470awhp...!

Last time I checked, this is the "Evo dyno tuning and results" forum. A dyno's purpose is to safely tune the car before going to the track. There are tons of issues/strenghts discovered while tuning the car on a dyno-- if "talking numbers" tics you off, go play somewhere else.

So you ran 11.46@122 huh?? last time I checked, that wasn't any ground shattering record for an evo ix with cams and meth? So you've been posting on here since 2006 and I have never seen your videos, timeslips, datalogs or any proof for that matter on your glorious pass... in fact, you were never on any stock-turbo list either,,,,, I wonder why?

By the way--- when were you at the track last? Current mods list?

The real enthusiasts understand the power this car is making with 0 Knock and 25psi. Thanks for trying to help out!
