My dyno and logs attached 442WHP 390TQ

Here is my recent tuning on e85. The graph shows 22deg vs 20 deg at redline. I have attached the logs. I will back down the timing since I didn't have any improvement. I have attached my logs on those who would like to give any suggestions. I'm going to the strip tomorrow.
The higher HP/tq pull is the 20* one. I have the ix actuator and I think it is holding me back from making more boost at redline.
My mods are:
ported exh mani
o2 housing
nisei licp
fp green
cosworth m2
fic 1250
walbro
tbe
buschur maf pipe and filter
stock fmic for now (new one on order)
Aps bov, forge mbc
ecuflash

Took a look at your logs but didn't see boost being logged; what are you running for boost? If you're not making anymore power with timing, try adding boost to see if the power goes up. You can probably get close to 500/500 on a green, I know I was able to on a 50-trim on E70.

I am on stock map sensor so I don't think I can log it. I'm running 30 psi. down to like 22. I check the boost tomorrow.

on the stock WGA 24 psi is doable.

other than that nice numbers....would love to see a before and after on the IC (i am in the market for one).

Good job on tuning her yourself. Making some good power on the Green now with E85.

Looks like it's pulling hard on the top end, but you are definitely losing some boost to the stock IX WGA. Most guys on here are seeing improvements in holding boost (especially now that you're spiking up to 30psi) with switching over to the Forge WGA.

You planning on hitting up a 1/4 mile soon, or back to the 1/8 strip? Looking forward to seeing some 1/4 mile traps...

Keep up the good work!

bambooi,

did you notice on the 22 degree map that your intake air and coolant temp were both about 10 degree's hotter? that could easily have lost you power. if your headed to the track i would do a couple passes on both maps and see if the mph goes up with the 22.

I assume the boost is ramping up slowly by the gradual tq line. I notice that the greens tend to peak late in the RPM and just produce broad tq, but never a bunch of tq in the low end.

That the norm or something wrong in the setup?

I ran your logs with evoscan and I got lower hp numbers, 422hp and 367ft.lb, used 77F for temp and 3086 for vehicle weight, people wcontents weight 187. One thing I notice is that on your chart the ambient temp. is set to 60C. Anyway good numbers! I am just tring to compare DLL with evoscan.

I read somewhere in this forum, that you need to add the ppl w/ contents weight to the vehicle weight. The ppl contents does nothing.

Thanks. I just kept all the settings the same on all the pulls to compare and check the tuning gains. I think those settings are standard when you install the program. I just use what it had in it. I might had added 200lbs for the people weight for myself and tools. I can't remember now, but that is why I posted the full chart.

No I didn't notice that. Thanks for pointing that out.

Well I'm still new to tuning. I think I may be able to tune the AF at spoolup and add some timing. I'll have to look closer. The thing is E85 doesn't like much timing near peak, but at redline it can surpass MBT.
