No dyno either be happy you live close and have close options all the fighting is not needed in a thread about wh8ter experience. Good number btw way.
Ah...stop your whining. Mellon can give you a tune remotely by email and the DataLogLab is a good way to measure your cars performance on the road without a dyno. I'd do that before having "my moms bf and the Nissian dealer" tune my car!!!

wurd thank goodness for vendors such as Mellon. Mellon Tuning is a great alternative for those who don't have shops or dyno tuning facilities in there area. I would use Mellon if I didn't have choices in my area.

That is a super duper misconception Dynos are used as a tuning tool the HP and Tq #'s are just a benifit. Most tuners on this forum will tell you they are really looking at the HP and Tq curve. When I used to take my turbo civic to Ripp Modifacation the owner would tell me I'm not really tuning for hp. I just want to make sure your power gain is nice and smooth and your trap speeds are where they need to be. I don't really believe one dyno is better over another. The only thing I do believe is Dyno Pack Dynos are garbage.

Oh and by the way see I can be civil

Whats a misconception? Mustang dynos are the best. They can simulate a car on the street, so later you dont have to take the car on the street for a tune to check if the car is running lean or whatever, unlike other dyno's. Also with mustang dynos when you want to do a quarter mile pass on them they are off by a tenth of a second or .1. And can show a pretty acurate trap speed. Which I think is amazing. I'm glad that you can be civil, your showing a sign of a grown up.

Personally I feel all dynos are basically the same like I said before I feel one is not better then another with the exemption of dynopack.

wtf are you talking about. I assume you did not even read or absorb what i said. I was stating that at least you have a shop that has worked on many evos before that can assist you. I dont. Im sponsored by the nissan dealer here because of my Z so they will help me with some installs if needed NOT TUNE MY CAR. The point of what i said was if something happens you can take it to a evo specilist where i have none and the dealer def does not know what the heck they are doing. I would not even dream of tuning my car thats what mellon is for. im just stating you have one place where you can dyno get a tune and part installs done so be happy for that.

Thread cleaned, all the off topic douchebaggery removed. If you have issues with a shop, particularly one that isn't a vendor on EvoM, other people's tuning threads is not the place to bring it up.
