friends evo 8 got dyno tuned made only 275hp???

not sure what happend, the car has these mods

ETS upper and lower intercooler pipe
ETS 3.5 intercooler
ETS Intake
EPM o2 dump
Greddy Ti-c comp tip3in exhaust
Hallman pro boost controller set to 24psi
Evo 9 Bov
POrted Exhaust manifold
walbro 255

car was checked for boost leaks there was none, but there is 2 studs snapped on to the turbo one on manifold to turbo and other one on the o2 dump on the hotside. anybody ideas what could be wrong? also the o2 dump was cut (6") bc the pipe was hitting the radiator and the intercooler pipe. would that have anything to do with it?

Has anyone done a compression check? Tuned at 24psi and this is all it can muster?

Something is definately wrong if these are the numbers on a dynjet.

Also have the EPM dump above the piping is not a smart idea.

Thats very low for a dyno jet. If it was a mustang, it would be lower, but those numbers even it was a mustang are EXTREMELY low.

Do a boost leak test. Was the old changed? Was the plugs changed? It should have made 300ish since no cams

Is he on the stock 9.8 hotside? If so thats about right. Maybe a little low since he was pusing 24psi but at high RPM where he peat hp is the boost is lower and the 9.8 has too much back pressure.

I made 265 on a dynojet at 21 psi. Now I change the turbo and I am at over 300 at 22~23 psi. Stock cams

He should still be 300+whp with those mods on a dynojet. I made 315/315 with 272cams and a 9.8h a loooong time ago with only an exhaust and boost controller 22psi

you might be getting some exh leaks where the studs have broken..and that is very low for a DJ @ 24 psi with the mods you have done. I made those #'s on a mustang with intake, exhaust and 22 psi when I first bought my car.

*edit* sorry made 265 with my first mods.
