So what do you thnk!?

OK heres the deal, I have an appointment with Junior at The Shop this weekend. It looks as if i wont have my FMIC on by then. I havent bought one yet because i'm looking for a good deal on a used one.

Would I be hurt alot if I went and got tuned on my stock FMIC?

The car will be retuned by Scott at TTP in a month or so when i get back to Florida. I will have a new intercooler for sure, and Meth. But for now, what do you think...

Set up is...

Custom Tubular GT35R
850cc inj
Stock motor
Stock cams
LICP
Plugs
Walbro 255
and such...

If your getting retuned in a month anyways it really doesn't matter.

Well that turbo won't generate a lot of heat. Just get a conservative tune you can drive with and do pulls, then get a more serious one with the rest of your parts. You don't want to drive around with those mods untuned..

The car will be fine with the stock FMIC. Sure you'll may be able to put some more timing and/or boost in it with an upgraded IC but I'm sure Junior will have the car running just fine with the stock unit.

Just hold off on continual racing so you don't heat soak and introduce knock

I agree. Junior will have the car running fine. He is one of the best tuners in the NE. Just leave the boost low and don't beat on it too much.

WOT pulls will be fine. Just if your going to be doing pull after pull your gonna heat up the stocker and start introducing some knock
