UPDATE!

Went to the track, car weighed 3360 with me in it.

Ran back to back to back 11.1s at ~126mph bouncing off rev limiter in fourth at 8500rpms before end of 1/4 mile, damn 6 speed. If I used fifth it would go 11.3 at 123mph. Still on stock springs and retainers so 8500rpm was already 500 too much according to the FP4r recommendations.

best time was 1.68 60' 1/8th-7.213 @ 98.32mph and 1/4-11.142 @ 125.49mph

Still running the original head bolts and head gasket. 53k miles and car has always been ~30+psi on E85 for 47K of them.

I'll get some springs and retainers and find a few more horse and go get that 10.

Since you have the new fp red design, dont you have the HP actuator? How about adjusting that to get more boost? I guess you also need fuel pressure before you do that.

Nice times btw.

What dyno?

The guy I lost to in the finals has a stock 6 bolt with an FP3052 (61mm) and a 75 shot. He is an employee of the shop that tuned my car (DB Performance) he put down 545hp on the same dyno I made 432hp on. The 545hp car went 140.71mph, that is just sick mph and power for a stock 4G63 block!

When I had my Red ordered it came with the 18psi WGA, now they have a 25psi WGA. I crushed my IX BOV and it picked up another 5 psi so I can run 35psi easily now. Will go back for another tune in the future.

So the wastegate is good and the bov is the culprit then. I can't believe the shop didn't take 5 minutes to tighten up the wg for you since you guys were trying to figure out why you could not get more boost.

The owner is a good buddy of mine, I pretty much build the car, he tunes it after hours. In fact he suggested a different BOV or slight crush but I was stubborn and didn't want to mess with the bov at the time. For some reason I thought my car was leak tested to 30psi a couple months ago but checking back with friends who were doing the test they said they only went to 25psi. Oh well, the problem is solved time to look for the next one.
