low numbers for a 35r...

Anyone know what could be holding me back. I made 380 on a dyno jet.
03 evo 8 with stock block with 21 psi
Mods-
gt35r turbo kit
hks 264 cams
880cc injectors
AMS EMS
hks carbon ti exhaust
fidanza cam gears
Greddy boost controler
hks ssq bov
Bigger fuel pump
greddy fmic
new exhaust manifold
Why are the numbers so low?

couple of questions/comments
assuming you are running a test pipe?
i don't think our cars do well with vent to atmosphere bov's
why such low boost?
could be issues with the tune
check for boost leaks.
those cams are pretty small for that turbo

Let's add a little detail to your question;;;

What kind of dyno/correction was your tuner using?-- Can you post the sheet?

Why is a 35r restricted to a 21psi tune?

Has the car been boost-leak tested?

What were your inj duty cycle%'s?

A vented bov is fine with an aem ems provided you are using a map sensor vs maf.

PS..

If you paid a tuner to tune the car on the dyno and he can't answer your questions-- fire your tuner.

+1

21psi seems low for a 35r on pump unless your duty cycle is/was too high on your injetors

Your car can easily see 30psi on 93/octane with the right tuner. You should see 500whp on a dynojet easily granting your car has the proper fuel supply and is in good running condition(boost leaks, etc)

edit: saw you are running 880cc injectors, something is wrong. Maybe you should ask your tuner, if he can not give you a good enough answer, find someone else or have someone review your aem ems and see what is going on.

+1, +1, and +1. The cams are not such a huge problem but prolly holding you back. Kelford 272 or bust.

Also, what AFR was it running at? How much timing at various rpm points?

depends on the turbo (which flavor of 35R) that is right for a 61mm or a standard 3582. My 3586 made 401 at 19psi with the Magnus and 374 at 16psi (wastegate). Our head fabricator TJ made about that at 21-22psi on pump with a 61mm Precision.

Boost and/or your tuner (assuming you are running a larger 35R) are your issues.

Yeah combination of things.

To make better power you should:

1.Run HKS 280 cams
2.Crank the boost above 25
3.Get retuned...

Its actually normal for the boost level if its a straight 3582 (non hta). It needs more boost to make more power, airflow=power.

the 35r really shines at higher boost levels. So give it what it wants and it will be good to you... More boost!
