Go learn how to build your car elsewhere if all you are going to do is question us when we try to point out your mistakes after you ask for advise.
I hope you feel really good with yourself, insulting me like that !!! I just want you to know that your comment emontially wrecked me and I'll probably go sell my car... and get Subaru

Seriously, who has a mod list like yours, asks for help diagnosing a problem, and then questions the people who are trying to help him?

With a pompous attitude like yours, you would fit right in with the Subaru crowd.

GBAILEY472 dont worry bro. you should be making a lot more. i made 315whp and 320wTQ on a dynojet - SAE corrected with a 3 port BCS (ECU - Boost controller) and a 3" TBE as my only mods.

your mods are good for your application with the exception of the exhaust manifold.

i recommend you call a tuner and get it sorted. with a tune on stock boost u should be around 280whp.

NOTE: this all comes down to what dyno u went on! Dynojet vs Mustang etc

Well the stock cat is one of the problems... I would also question boost control and the tune.

+1
there arent really "stages" with Evos... with Subarus, maybe, but not Evos.

GBAILEY472 - you should be making a lot more power given the mod list u provided, perhaps u got a bad tune??
but in general, there is a great write-up in the 'Newbie-stickies' (by Chaotichoax, the moderator) on modding, read it!

well, first I would recommend at least some kind of monitoring equipment like a boost gauge (a good one) and wideband you know just to be able to run the car see how everythings operating,

start ur diagonsis with the simple small things, like boost leak etc. and work ur way up, I know it gets frustrating when you put money and time into the car and the results are less than satisfactory, plus you gotta understand no one can tell you exactly whats wrong with the car, we can only suggest what could be wrong,

since you said you swapped out the manifold and o2 housing you should check for an exhaust leak cause that kills power too

Get some cams and get rid of that restrictive stock cat. Get a boost controller and get retuned!

Crazy K, I do have a boost guage,oil pressure guage and wideband ( AEM ), my Wideband reads 14.7, 14.8, 14,9 ... boost guage read 22lbs ... Gas&Brake (builds it to 25lbs)

94 octane

All my modz were based from what I seen on this forum... The EVO 9 has only been legal in Canada since JUNE 2008, so I rely on this forum to get the information needed... The only problem in this Tune you guys all talk about.... I can't get that here...the only thing available is ECUTEK... all he did is re-map my orginal ecu...

If someone can point me to someone who can I greatly appreciate it....

in boost you need to be reading richer than 14.7, 14.8

read read read friend. Pay lil attention to info/comments that don't/won't help you. check out other peoples rides, see what they are running and what they put down.

A highflow cat should open up your exhuast a bunch. since you have the downpipe and catback already, thats the choke point for your exhuast.

As far as tuning goes, if you don't have a tuner, then look at the email tune option. Buy a taxtrix cable, find a laptop and log log log. Tuning is not something you can learn quickly, but you can atleast begin. Find someone that knows EVOS, not subarus. 2 different animals.

p.s. Buy a flame suit, and ask questions. Only way ya going to learn besides reading. but get tougher skin man, everyones an expert online apparently.

Good luck

lots of email ecuflash tuner on here. look / read around and find a tuner to work with you and get his suggestion. you would definitely need something to control your boost better. i personally would suggest ecu controlled boost using a gm 3 port but check what your tuner would recommend. good luck. Also get rid of the stock cat get a test pipe or atleast a high flow cat.
