evo 9 dyno at efi logics in CT

I've had my evo for a couple months now and started moding it from the start with simple bolt ons. I went to a tunner in my local area after installing some bolt ons and did a baseline pull of 237 tq and 274 hp at 21psi max. After he tuned it i got 293 tq and 313 hp at 22.3 psi boost max and both runs to only 6800rpms. My scanner is not working wright now so i cant put up my dyno sheet but it's on a mustang dyno.

Mods
Megan 3"downpipe
cobb test pipe
rsr 3" cat back
samco intake pipe with k/n
hallman mbc
walboro 255 intank pump
ETS 3.5" intercooler kit
muse mini battery kit
auto meter boost and oil pressure gauge.

Nice gain for sure

BUT

Turn up the boost man. Your playing way too conservative.

Even a 25psi tune will bump that power up a bit.

Might need a fuel pump but the logs will tell ya

He made several pulls with the car and when i signed the waiver i think i only wrote down 6800 rpm max. Should've wrote 7500 rpms or around there.

chris is the tuner at efi and he does a real good job. i think their mustang dyno is really low reading though. i haven't heard one bad thing about him with subies, mustangs...etc!

anyway good numbers man!

also did the guy with the fp red have cams? i saw the dyno on their database and it didnt say camshafts were in. i think 360 on their dyno with stock cams isnt bad at only 25psi or whatever it was. with cams i bet you would be around 400whp and thats about right with a fp red on a mustang dyno with supporting mods.

You were told? We do not tune to the mechanical limits of the engine, most of our customers can't afford to drop a fortune on an engine.. Some shops hope that happens so they can gain the revenue from the aggressive tuning, we do not. People come to us not because we are SOOOOOOO conservative, but because we care and we don't tune cars to stroke our ego. If all your looking for is a horsepower number, EFI is not the place for you, plain and simple.

Again, you posted this magical FP Red car that only made 360whp.. I have yet to see who this is? I do not show any FPRed Evo9's in my tune database with 1000cc injectors, you constantly post up about "The Shop" is the place to go. I'm not one for internet drama, but please stop making things up to make other shops look better, it's pretty sad.

Yes, our dyno does read low, but the gains are where you will see where the power is made. I have posted this before, our online dyno database cuts off some of the last few RPM's for some reason. We are working on it. If the car supports the power, we will bring them up to 7200.

Here is a graph with the baseline and final tune.

Thanks,

Chris

Very nice tune for minimal mods a fuel pump and 25 psi and that 9 will fly

I have heard nothing but good things about EFI but they are too far for me the shop was simply closer to me and went to the shop to get something fixed and said this is the shop for me.

Heh have you ever thought about boosting that Busa
