Evo 9 MR -- Ivey Tuned

Well, after tons of research on which parts I wanted to use and who I wanted to tune my car, I am 110% satisfied.
I didn't want to go crazy with the car; just some basic bolt ons and great all around power.

2006 IX MR

Walbro in-tank
Muse LICP (for $112 shipped on ebay, and I'm not one to buy ebay parts, but this thing fits perfectly and doesn't have a single flaw)
Perrin intake kit (inlet tube and filter)
Hallman MBC
DC Sports catless downpipe
Greddy Evo 2 Catback

And the results. The blue was @ 22psi and the red was at 24psi all on 93 oct pump gas from Shell.
Final numbers are 354awhp and 349 ft/lbs

I don't have a scan of the run with rpm instead of mph, but maybe Sean will chime in with that.
The shop was clean, Sean was just in the zone and pulled this off like it was nothing and I will be returning in 10,000 miles for my timing belt, a cam install and a retune. I'd never go anywhere else

Alex man those are some nice numbers bro. I remember your car being pretty quick when you first got it. It must be a whole different monster now though!

What cams are you thinking of getting?

Final numbers are 354awhp and 349 ft/lbs

and thanks Ethan! I'll most likely end up with the GSC S1 cams... From what I've seen, they have the best all around performance without sacrificing low-end or idle quality.

I have similar mods and was tuned by AMS and you are making much better power than I am.

Yeah ive been eyeing the S1's for a while now. Plus im at 50k and its time to do a headgasket and timing belt. Im thinking of tackeling the job myself though. How hard could it be? lol I did the head porting and polishing and cam swap on my 420A

Realistically, it's just a dyno number, and furthermore, I don't have baseline numbers -- but, I can say that my car feels insane. I had all the mods listed, but with a stock tune and 21psi and the car was fast.. it's an animal now.

I plan to take it to the strip once, just to see where I'm at.

My buddy has a set for sale if you want I can get him in touch with you.

About doing the work myself. I have no problem doing bolt-ons, turbo kits etc... I installed everything currently on the car and you know about my past cars, but when it gets to the internals, or working on things that could potentially kill the motor if installed incorrectly etc.. I just don't like taking the risk. Half the time I don't have the correct tools, and the other half of the time I just can't afford to have the car off the road for more than a weekend, it's my daily driver and I'm not made of money, so it's worth the piece of mind to have a professional do the timing belt, cams and anything else in that area -- at least for me.

I'm at 324/313, and its not anywhere near fast enough for me. I want it to be fast enough to scare me.

wow, that's quite a big difference. depends on boost, which parts you're using, fuel used, air temp/humidity and the dyno you were on though. the real numbers are in the trap speed.
the car doesn't quite scare me, but it's more than enough to keep me satisfied for a very long time. scared a few friends tonight, so i'm happy

You bring up a very valid point Alex. Id defiantly be interested in the S1's your buddy has for sale. Is he located in CT or NY?
