FULL FUNCTION built stock block evo 8 over 500hp using PTE 6262

Hey guys i'm just posting this up since Sean our manager/tuner doesn't get much free time to post up stuff that's my job to ***** it up a bit

This is directly from his post on one of our local forums that i'm pasting here and will add some video footage of it later today.

We recently finished up a customer's car that actually came in almost completely stock except for a cat back exhaust. We never did a baseline dyno on the car but.... with just a cat back on an 05 Evo8 I would estimate it to be somewhere around 230-240hp??

Well onto the mod list.

2005 Evolution 8
Kelford 280 camshafts
Supertech Springs and retainers
ARP head studs
ARP rod bolts
AEM Cam Gears set @ 0,0
FFTEC V band 1 PC downpipe
FFTEC dumptube
FFTEC Turbo Manifold
FFTEC Intercooler piping
Garrett 24x12x3.5 IC core
FFTEC Modified Cast Entanks
FFTEC Intercooler piping
Precision Ball Bearing 6262
ECU controled Boost solenoid
FIC 1450cc inj
Full Blown double pump with Modified GSS342 pumps
Stock Head and block
Stock fuel rail and FPR
Omnipower 4 bar MAP sensor
AEM IAT sensor
OEM ECU w/ Speed Density conversion 96530706 Tephra V7
E85 Fuel
522hp 390tq @ 33PSI
506hp 383tq @ 31PSI
Dyno Pulls were done in 3rd gear. I am confident if we did the pulls in 4th it would have spooled earlier and made 10-15tq more.

Thanks for taking a look

EDIT: My apologies i'm getting more info on the specs of the turbo and have edited the thread title........i may have jumped the gun

We were super busy at the shop yesterday so i didn't have a chance to post more info up and we are going to a race today so i'll get all info up Sun.

Sorry guys for leaving this thread hanging but i've been so juiced about actually winning an event last Sat lol.

Anyway i had them change the thread title since i didn't want to lead people on.

I was under the wrong impression of the specifics of the turbo as we have a bunch of projects in the shop going on at once but this is what the specs are:

Precision Ball Bearing 6262 .63 turbine stadard 4 bolt inlet, v band outlet

Fwiw - on our dyno 525 should equal 130-135 mph trap speeds

I'll still get a quick dyno vid up asap........
