FULL FUNCTION's first car to be tuned on E-85 / 40R / 2.1L

The car was recently featured in the March 2008 DSport mag titled " GROWTH POTENTIAL"

Here's the car on our website w/ an older mod list:
http://fftec.com/CC19.html

Here's a brief updated mod list:
- 2006 Evo 9 MR
- FFTEC 2.1L de-stroked / sleeved / o-ringed
- FFTEC built head w/ HKS cams
- FFTEC GT40R turbo kit (allows for working a/c)
- FFTEC I/M w/ twin fuel rail design
- FFTEC 75mm TB
- Full Blown twin pump set-up
- 680 cc inj / 1000cc inj
- AEM EMS
- Shep trans (5spd)
- Exedy triple plate

The car will be tuned on 91 oct / E85 / and either A8C or VP Import at a later date

This is just a teaser for now so please do check back in as i will update as i gather dyno graphs, hp/tq #'s, and videos of the magic that goes on in the dyno booth.

Sean stopped tuning the car at 37psi of boost as we actually ran out of E85 as we had a very limited amount that we picked up from Concord (Thanks Bruce!)

He would still like to tweak things a bit more and it still needs some tuning for cruising etc.

Here are the #'s on 37psi w/ plenty more to come as Sean get's more familiar with tuning on E85. (MD)

Sorry if it came across wrong but if you read it says it was stopped at 37psi because we ran out of E85

The station we got that from is about 45 min one way from us as our station won't be open for another few days still.

I'm sure there will be more just got excited to post

Looking good Patrick. Still need those brakes?

E85 likes little timing near peak boost, ramp it up near peak power to 16-18* and run 20 or so out the top depending on noise level of course. Every car is different but I can share some smaller (57 trim) turbo timing maps on E85 and a stock computer to give you a little more comfort zone if you'd like. PM or email

I would suggest larger cams as well. HKS cams are mild these days it seems. S2 or S3 for that bad boy stat

Thanks for the helpful words of wisdom Paul, John, Aaron, hell all you English Racing guys

We are not trying to front we are still new to this whole E85 thing but can see the potential of it and love it so far.

I'm still waiting on the ok from our cutomer on the brakes as he had a couple of things come up

Can't remember exactly why the block was sleeved i'll ask Sean today when i get to the shop but the HKS cams have been in there for a while from the get-go and there wasn't much selection back then

I've already passed the word on to Sean and i'm going to fill up some 15gall drums at lunch so we should hopefully have new #'s later tonight.

Thanks again guys for helping out a fellow WEST COAST EVO
