Eric's Touch Up Tune..+70whp/75wtq!

As some of you know we had a dyno day for EvolutionM.net. We got a call from Eric who was considering a touch up tune since his evo 9 was tuned previously 2 years ago and was running too rich. Nothing was majorly wrong with the tune at all once we strapped the car down on our dyno besides being extremely rich (low 10 Air Fuels.) We immediately started leaning the car out to a nice healthy 11.5.1 and starting turning up the wick on the mbc...

Mods:

Custom 3.5" TBE
Stock Turbo(ported hotside)
Intake
PTE 780cc Injectors
Ported Exhaust Manifold
Buschur IC Pipes
Ebay FMIC
Okada Project Coils
GFB Bov

After getting the air/fuel properly adjusted, we starting turning up the boost from 24psi to 28.5psi on 93 Octane. Let's just say the car immediately started coming to life and really took the boost well:

You can see huge gains everywhere and look how nice and smooth this car is running throughout the whole power band.

Boost Plot:

Thanks for coming out from NJ to spend the day/night with us Eric! Enjoy your car and be safe!

Well, that can be relatively simple depending what dyno you plan on getting tuned on!

400whp on our dyno is no walk in the park for a stock turbo. Anything can be obtained if you utilize good parts and find a good tuner though.

Very True. You are paying for experience. Most of the time, cheap=junk but on a evolutionm.net dyno day, you could of payed half price for our tuning!

1/3 of the $$$ goes towards dyno time. ($100,000) machine= big monthly payments.

2/3 of the $$$ goes for experience and the actual tuning itself. You are paying for someones knowledge and countless hours of figuring things out knowing exactly what works and what does not work in an efficient manner to get the job done safely.
