STMs Front Facing Turbo kit with Dyno sheets and videos!
The shop in question was thinking let's build a manifold hat us different and unique to promote our business and start a new craze with evos, and while they were at it they went on to crush every stock block record that was out here. So when emery gave me the keys back and gave me his inside info on how he drove the ricer(the original big daddy) I listened cause I think he might know a few things about driving a car with this kit on. So, I will take your paypal wager, you just need to tell me how long you want this bet to go for. This kit has no need for a filter. A filter would hinder exactly what a front facing turbo kit was designed for. The most direct air you can give it. Not the most direct air you can give it after it finds it's way around a filter that has a rubber cap on the top, the exact rubber top facing the exact way the turbo is. If I wanted somehing with a filter I would have gone more traditional. Trust me I have thought long and hard about what turbo kit I wanted. Cause if even the smallest particle of dust or rain would destroy a turbo we would all be screwed if we started our cars. A filter does just that, it filters it dosent stop every small bit or water or dirt or dust or lil tiny bug. But it does stop he really big stuff. Check the inside of your filter rub your fingers on it. I'd say they dont come out completly clean. And if that's the case.... Your turbo is just as screwed as mine. So good luck and happy motoring!
i'm in total agreement of what you said.
apart from the turbo not sustaining damage in the long term. if its driven on the street and used as normal i.e some days cruising some days driving hard then the size particles larger than what would not normally make it past a filter will be the ones that do the damage especially much larger as would be able to make it thru your screen. but time will tell. i need to know how much the car will be used on the street to decide my wager time scale

i'd deffo have that kit for a circuit or drag car just not the street.
She is on the road every day except for winter. I didn't take your comments as a hater, look up jmartinez on here if you wanna see hater. I just posted the exact same responses that emery gave me when I asked those same questions.
427 whp at Mustang is low for 93 octane and 35R... 2 weeks ago we had 500 at 28psi with ETS kit, full size intake filter, A/C. I think if you build race car it has to have much more. Car with front face turbo, gate to the sky, no A/C is not every day and streetable.
Now we're comparing dyno numbers cross-continent?
