Timing belts both are about the same in difficulty. Clutch, well evo is definitly harder. Spark plugs, suby is easy but just more time consuming. Everyday maintenance, Suby edges the evo out as far as it being alittle easier to do.

ive owned both.

h6 from an svx, this car also turns, iirc approximately top 20 out of 60 cars in road racing events.

We decide to not write again to evolutionM forum and share our technology until Mods do their job as should. A lot of misinformation there, there are some few guys, and one old fashion shop there that offend our company with lies and misinformation about us, and advice his customers write against us. We are not blaming them, we blame the website moderators leaving them write for us like these. No control at all, just pay them letting anybody offend professionals like us. Until give us again the place that deserve us and remove the haters post we will not come again. We are finishing our website that have a tech forum for them who really want to move ahead and follow our technology and passion.
To our subject now.
We wanted to test our Subaru 2004 sti. Our new high tech trany and our powerful engine. Our target is to brake all the ET records with full street full interior platforms. Just upgraded engine - transmission - suspension. We have built this Subaru and we are finishing an Evo and we built a GTR for this reason. All the 3 cars will be able to hit our target using our new trany systems.
So before the race we weight the car and was 3190lbs with the driver. Using VP import fuel.
We manage to make only 3 passes at this event.
1st: 8.970 @ 153.81 with 1.294 60ft. 30psi boost
2nd: 8.840 @ 155.5 with 1.303 60ft. 31.5psi boost
3nd: 8.709 @ 162.1 with 1.474 60ft. 39psi boost
We have tune it to 57psi boost using our 1680hp turbo. Unfortunately we didn’t have another pass to raise the boost. Next time. At the 3dr pass if we did the 1st pass 60ft we should see 8.4-8.5sec pass. Never mind time will tell soon. So far as we know that we own the record from 4cylinder 4wd car full interior car, and we aiming to brake general engine records 4wd from our 4cylinder engines. We know that AMS GTR alpha omega 1600whp owns it with 8.62 ET. The other huge problem is that there was only glue till 330ft and when we did the 8.7pass with 39psi when our car leave the glue we had traction problems.
To a better track after the 330ft we could rise the boost more.
We are aiming low 8s or even break it with these engines - transmission technology.

You can see this Subaru pics videos and specs to our FB page tonight http://www.facebook.com/ExtremeTuners

Thank you

Awesome. I know I have been very vocal about ET's lack of results but I truly hope its everything and a bag of chips. Can't have too many turbo options.

Subbies overall are slow comparatively. Obviously there are extreme examples of either car but its much easier to go faster in a Evo then a scooby for the average enthusiast.

That Subbie gets hell out though. No denying that.

Hopefully he can make some runs with the evo and prove what he can do with those. Silence us all. Till then though...

Making claims like being the fastest full interior jelly bean that is blue and was built in my garage doesn't impress much.

I like the fast times from the Scooby, the full interior claims are old to me though. Why not drop the weight and simply become the fastest? Do you have a slip from the scales at the track with your car on it for proof of the full weight.

To me it is like shooting pool with one hand. If you win... You are super cool because you won with one hand. If you lose... You were only playing with one hand so it was expected...

I figure that the mods let stuff go because the vendor never reported it and was making outrageous claims with little back up. After a couple of years it gets old.

This the equivalent of taking you toys and going home like a petulant child.

No one said anything that wasn't valid. None of the valid questions were answered and none of the stolen pictures defended.

What is so wrong with showing proving? The best way to shut a detractor up (not a hater because a hater is something else completely and I doubt there is any vendor on here or customer that is ENVIOUS of ET and therefore has resorted to HATING) is to PROVE IT.

IF you are going to talk a good game, BACK IT UP. For the love of god what is so hard about that concept. Everyone else on this forum has had to do it.

TSCOMPUSA had some some issues a few months back with his numbers and he tried to be as transparent as possible. I respect that. Make a claim, back it up or admit you were wrong and keep it moving. People will respect that. Or at least they should.

How can you respect a company that passes work off as their own, and runs as soon as hard FACT based questions are asked>

Its whatever. At least some people on this forum has a tangible products now. And now we get to see if they are worth the hype. Believe it or not I hope its as good as the hype has been.

Subaru, Honda, Mitsubishi, why does that matter honestly? It's a street trim turbo 4 cylinder car at full weight.

No one has done anything faster than David Buschurs Bad Bish in a street trim car in the Evo world, and he has yet to find the combo that will put him in the 8's.

Of course the term "full weight" is used loosely, if you have ever modified your car you will not actually be factory weight.

This is a Mitsubishi forum specifically for evos, but we are not the only cars out there, many vendors/shops also work on other makes and models, if English Racing, STM, Buschur, Ivey, AMS, etc put up non Mitsubishi Evolution times (drag, circuit, or whatever) would you guys discredit those too just because "it's not an evo"?

Everyone wanted #'s and time slips to back it up. Building any car that can be bought off a showroom floor, and turning it into a car capable of 8.7's in the quarter mile is damn impressive in my book. (Especially when the car is a Japanese turbo 4 cylinder)

Well he does say let's see the evo, etc. But he's more so attacking the full weight claim and asking why they don't try and be the fastest.

Who really has the desire to turn their fully functional car into a dragster that is very limited in practicality?

My comment is that they built the Subaru, ran a fast time, why does it have to be done in the Evo specifically for you to give them props? (I think this was more my line of thinking when I posted)

What if they said it was 3000hp? what if it was an auto, what if they took 200lbs off the car. There is just so much crap that people could nit pick and attack. Honestly it's a great accomplishment and I commend them for building these "street machines"

As fans of motorsports, racing, and different makes and models of cars we could all appreciate something a little different. But of course I would like to see what their "world record horse power evos" can do also. One thing is for sure though, racing these caliber machines doesn't come cheap, no matter where in the world you are. The cost of building something that fast is a whole other conversation.

Is this for real? You sure he's not in business with kleenex instead of mclaren?

He's more than capable of defending himself but choses to not post. Pathetic excuse.

As for misinformation - he posted photos of non-evo parts, other companies products claiming to be his own and refused to answer any serious technical questions that were valid, instead calling people haters. Yet claims "still now" to be better than the tuners he's run away from. What an absolute load of horse****. That letter has made the guy a much bigger joke in my eyes.

So even if he can make the most powerful engine in the world, why post lies and run from serious questions? This will go around and around in circles forever i fear.
