Mikey's FP Red on 31lbs = 520HP

Hey guys,

Well it has been a few weeks since I got my car off the dyno but I have been busy as hell since. This is my dyno run with my 64mm FP Red. As most of you know, I was pushing my stock turbo pretty hard till it blew. I then begged R/TErnie to let me get his Red off him. The nice guy that he is, allowed me to have it and we worked all ****ing weekend on my car. Thank you so much Eric for all your help, and you too Freddie!

I put down 420 at 35lbs on stock turbo. New mods are : FP Red, Magnus v5, R/TErnie 3in 02 Housing w/ external dump, and 3.8in Garrett FMIC. The car put down 520 at 31lbs and held 30lbs on the top. My red is completely stock, no port work. The car was a bit laggy because I didn't know how to setup my EBC correctly so the day of the dyno it didn't hit 30+lbs till like 5.5k. After the dyno I got that problem fixed which led to blowing my tranny or something like that. I don't want to talk about that right now because I'm still a bit livid about that!

I believe this car could make 575+ on 38+lbs of boost. Though there is no need to push my motor more than it already is.

Here is some eye candy

Where is that 02 flange coming from? That cnc exhaust side is sweet.

It is the JMF flange. It is the same one that is used on the Shearer 02 Housing the Mike@AWD sells

everything looks beautiful - nice setup. the boost profile looks interesting though, which is also evident in the dyno output. almost looks like a huge vtech engine why dont you run higher boost at lower RPMS or have boost taper?

Congrats on the great numbers, BLKCarbonEVO. It's always good to see the FP Red performing well.

He explained it in his first post.

Ya my favorite part about the 02 is that it is a true 3in 02. It eliminates the 2.5in neck down where the donut flange was. It is pretty nasty and I think it is one of the reason why I was able to run a 31lb spike and hold 30lb out the top. The dump really helped hold boost better out the top.

The dyno was on 92+100 meth. The turn is very conservative and really safe on the timing. I would like to do a Q16+100meth dyno to see the difference but not sure I want to push my stock block much more than I already am.
