570whp 23psi 3586
So got all the little bugs worked out for the time being and finally made my way to the dyno this evening to get some of gas tune started. I have switched a few things up in addition to the 2.2 motor so I had some time spent getting that tuned.
The fuel system was all new using the Magnafuel 4301, aeromotive FPR & rail, -6 fuel system, and the FIC2150 high impedance injectors. The motor has more compression which is something I really havent played around with on gasoline and the cams (for the time being) are the revised GSC S2s. These measure 278/274 and are 11.5mm/11.2mm.
I wanted to get the MIVEC dialed and make sure my spool wasnt going to go anywhere and was still how it was when it was a 2.0L. The head had been worked by our porting professional Jeff Bush, which we have found not only encourages power but seems to help the turbo really light off.
After having got that done we started making some pulls, there were a few bets going around the shop and I really have to say I wasnt expecting to see what I did. This car has made 496/333 at 23psi prior, tonight was a little better:

This is a 10:1 motor based on the specs I recieved from JE. However there are 2 things that havent quite added up. The dish number I got from them was -6.1 which is less than I thought it was supposed to be. The second is I used a .063 HG instead of the .042 I thought I was going to. If that dish number is right this is a 10.25:1 motor but if the -6.1cc was incorrect I am not 100% sure. I posted logs in my build thread actually if you'd like to have a gander.

lol wow! Those are some amazing numbers! Throw some e85 or race gas at that thing and more boost! That's almost the setup I'm going to have.
- 2.0 156mm Long Rod motor, 10.5:1 CR
- GT35R turbo .82ar T3 manifold
- Kelford 280 cams
- Ported head
- ID2000 injectors
- Dual 255lph Fuel Pump
- AEM EMS tuned on E85
- Stock Intake Manifold/TB/
I was only going to run 21-23psi on it just to see how my stock drivetrain holds up and I was personally expecting to make 500whp tops with that setup on 21psi but if you're numbers were on pumpgas I may be making much more than I thought lol..

Thanks guys, the plan is to still go to E85 and make the thing tear. This was more about a friendly shop bet about how much boost I could run on a 10:1 motor. I think the MIVEC is helping keeping dynamic compression lower than a comparable VIII which might be some of it. I am not sure how far I am going to push the pumpgas, but it will only be on E85 for a little this winter and then back to gas for the ease of cold start (more that I can race in the ice....well).
