Of course you can close the plug gap enough and get the job done sometimes. When the temperatures get a bit cooler you will get annoying misfires and no doubt cost you some races.

All the testing we've done ALL show adding a correctly designed, wired, and assembled ignition system will lower knock count increase horsepowerand make for a consistent Race/Street car. Especially after sitting on the 2 step longer than you normally do, awaiting the other driver to bump in. A stock ignition can and will get loaded up and assist you to a very nice bog off the line. Not everytime...sometimes

You also made lots of power on a ported stock manifold so "you DON'T need and aftermarket manifold" Man I love the Irony
well said, the exact same stuff happens to me.i run a plugs gap of 16" thats were the car will run halfway decent and not break up AS BAD.but like you said at night the car does what it wants it sometimes it runs clean other times it doesnt.not consistent does cost you races trust me...good info here

the stock igntion CAN handle 700+ obviously but on my car its not consistent...sometimes it misfire other times it doesnt,it gets old.i dont want to turn this into a pissing match everycar is different and setup etc. so you have to go by a case by case bases.on MY car i already know what it needs.ive been doing this for a longtime now (not all on evos) but i know when a car needs an ignition upgrade....

Actually if you know how to set up the dwell/charge time etc. on an aftermarket ecu it goes a lot further than the stock ecu in reducing misfires. You will be surprise how many are not familiar with that and just blame the ecu brand.

I know you're familiar with a certain E85 monster that's at 47psi and run consistent 8sec 1/4's with a certain factory nippondenso coil!
No DLI or CDI needed there.

The thing is,nobody asked you for your opinion...I'm tired of seeing threads getting derailed when you come in and start forcing your opinion down peoples throats.........Seems to me like he is a smart guy who will be just fine without your input........

I already did. You need my xml now dont you

Josh, congrats on the power. Its interesting to see what the 6265 does compared to the 6262 or the FS635 on a little more standard build. I may have missed it but what fuel?
