nah we broke 400's...lol Chad's just being modest. The 404hp run was just to see what we could get out of it...definatly more then we both expected Tuned it down a bit for the street.

Chad,

Be good to see the next set of results on the ix
Do you think this car could have made an extra 10whp peak with S2 cams?
would you recomend them for a similar set up street car over the S1?
Would be good to see a dyno test on the jmfab manifold see how much it makes over a stocker or ported stocker..

great looking graph out of an 8 especially with s1's. car is making awsome power all the way to red line. good luck to the owner, i know your looking forward to a little warmer weather. i broke all 4 loose the other day with very similar power from a roll in third gear!

Have any pictures of the JMFab mani?

I am also waiting to see what the BBK-XL or whatever it is being called now will produce before upgrading my turbo. If 400whp on your dyno is achievable with the BBK-Full, I think I will be very happy with the XL.

Excellent results indeed, congrats to both you and the owner of the car. Can you be honest when answering my following question:

How bad did the JMF killed the spool/lb-tq/hp in the lower rpm range?, I know you mentioned that it gain in the top but no mentioned in the lower-midrange.

Thanks!

hey guys,

on this particular car with the new jmfab manifold i didn't see any negative effects of the tubular manifold all positive... this car made great power AND torque..

i still think the S2 cam is one of the best evo cams period... if you want to do springs and retainers... otherwise i use s1's on the 8;s!!

larger BBK is still coming along, no firm delivery times or ETA yet.
