Awesome job on the tune Mellon. I think with a cam upgrade, and a cone filter he will crack 500whp pretty easy! He already has a 4" aluminum intake. It's making some pretty good torque too, my header seams to be doing well
oh that's your "Tab Fab" header, that's a really nice looking piece

yep, that seems to be tracking dead on with my estimates

there's no guarantees on the stock internals when you double the stock whp, but the tune is solid. We've done dozens of 35R at 30psi on 93 octane over the past few years.

yea those cars are strong.
but dont forget your racing a car less in weight, with less drivetrain loses, and better aerodynamics!
at what rpm on 1st gear you started the drag?
did you brake boost?

yes but you might have to pull too much timing and add fuel to make it stable.

Yeah Chris - congrats ! Tell me - is there any way to make a faster spool for this turbo (even when it takes some hp's) ?

going to a smaller hotside like the .63 would help or going from a 2.0 to 2.3L

I think Al did it a while back on a 42R or something like that just to see what it would do, I think he ended up making 700hp, but don't quote me, I may be way off. It was a long time ago. Clearly the key to making big power on pump gas is a large efficient turbo and excellent supporting mods.
