Who knows, the motor let go this weekend because of too much torque!

This one is a freshy and is built (220 miles). I am not worried about the 2.4 since we push eagle rods to 540-550 ft lbs normally. I am assuming you are talking about a different motor?

I think denny was referring to his own. Please tell me he wasn't pushing 456wtq on a stocker!

Looking forward to seeing Jake's car this weekend, Aaron. Unleash the beast!

Gotta love how peak hp & tq. are less than 1,000rpms apart.

Woa I missed the stock cat-back part. Is Jake going to remove that in the future?

if you are coming down this weekend you'll see why its never coming off. Or more accurately hear why.

BulletProof,

The powerband isnt that bad...once the boost controller starts to get utilised it will make peak torque down near 3k. Like I have repeatedly said this was more to test some Rally engine ideas (which only rev in this power range) before it gets moved on to a MUCH larger turbo

^keep that nasty throat of yours up North!

Can't wait to see Jake's setup. Is he dumping or is it punched out, or something else entirely?

^ I think you are wrong my man. On his setup I bet it does! His 2.4L is flowing a lot of air and creating a lot of pre-turbine back pressure. I'm willing to put money down that if he switched to a recirc megan he would lose 15+hp! Not to mentian that a dump eleminates 2-3psi of post-turbine back pressure too!
