One Stock motor VS 3 Turbos!!!
Thanks for the positive comments guys...
As I always say,, A motor is nothing but a glorified air pump. Keeping the same afr's power is made by getting air in and out as quickly as possible.
Dyno charts are a great means to measure output per rpm, but there are other factors to decide-"if this turbo is best for me".
Luke is on a quest for HUGE power, the 6262 is a great step in that direction.
I see someone caught that the red had the weather and boost advantage, but spool/response is where it is king. This may be a major factor on a road course, but a drag race would place it dead last.
In this specific combination, the 6262 is actually at the greatest DIS-advantage. Regarding our metaphor as an air pump, this turbo combo is very restricted starting with the 3" intake pipe, through the tb and im, and passing the stock cams. The larger turbo has the most to GAIN with additional mods. Another factor not taken into consderation is the performance these combos would give up to 9-9.5k--another strong area for the larger turbo.
Hands down with an 8k rev limiter on pumpgas with a stock motor-- the red rules. Open up the breathing mods, build the combo for higher rpm and increase air delivery to the turbo--6262 is king.
I feel the black is a nice middle ground for the 3, but weaker vs each turbo in its perfect climate.....
If a stock motor performing at its widest useable range of rpm is your goal--Go Red.
If you want to feel your hair line get pushed to the back of your neck with that rush of mph--- go big.
Just my own opinion.

Thanks bro ..im getting some cams and other goodies very soon with some e85..im getting some custom grinds made for me..Ever since I went for a ride in your car I wanted a bigger turbo but gave the black a shot and it failed in my book..
The numbers on the charts are kind of misleading as they are the spikes in the power. If you used smoothing to compare power curves, I think you'd see something more like this:
Red - 300ft/lbs by 3900 RPM and 490 WHP out the top
Black - 300 ft/lbs by 4300 RPM and 495 WHP
6262 - 300ft/lbs by 5000 RPM and 505 WHP
To me, on this car as this power level, the RED is the winner. I wouldn't trade 15 WHP for 1000 RPM more powerband on a street car.
EDIT: Didn't read the rest of Boltz post, but we are on the same page.

This sums it up. Great power especially on stock cams.

Like i said stock cams chocked up air filter and hole in my intake manifold and im on pump gas with 3xtremely low timing....I looked on the forms and i made the most power with my red and black with my limited mods...I did fix my manifold and put a bigger fliter ans the car feels way better rips haed also the pulls were done in thrid gear instead of fourth i have a 6 sp tranny..sharkbite im doing e85 cams and ported manifold very soon...
Time for pistons/rods!!!!
Interesting post guys. I'm at work right now and can't view that graphs. I'll look at everything again when I get home and make a better post. Congrats luke. Wait till you see my black. I bet I will BLOW your 6262 out of the water

shift! idk about this talk about how much of a difference the lag is between the black and the 6262, (look at buschurs post today on the black vs red vs. hta 86) but if you are in a black or 6262 car if someone's in the right gear and has the car loaded..it matters who has more power.
