Ix stock turbo basic mods tune

stock ix
- Ivey tuned
-3" dc sports downpipe
-3" perrin exhaust
-perrin turbo inlet
-muse lower intercooler pipe
-255pump
-mbc 24 psi
-STOCK air box hks drop in pannel filter

yeah i really wanted to keep the stock look..+ intakes are soooo annoying... vaaaaaaaa chaaa every 4 seconds..

Nice #'s. I made 301 whp with what you got minus the fuel pump,makes a big difference I guess.

depends on the dyno (yours vs his/her) mitsuclipsegsx too not to take away from the op but just keep that in mind

I love how it takes a set of cams,intake,and licp on my 8 to get what you get out of your ix without those 3 add-ons.

Looks like he did LICP as well. I did on my IX, got about the same number with mods as he did. The OEM LICP sucks on 8's and 9's, same unit. But yeah, the Mivec and 10.5 hotside do help

i had two friends who tuned there Evo 9's a week ago. One made 321hp and 330 torque with factory boost controller. we onlly took the boost pills out the factory boost controller hose. went to 21lbs with that change.

The other car made 344hp and 323 torque on 24lbs of boost. Both had exhaust and drop in K&N filters. pretty impressive with these simple mods.

I am really glad to hear of the power that "my boy" made... quite frankly doesnt matter, so please stop posting.

Idont know what dyno Ivey is running since.... Your not aloud to step foot in his shop.

mitsuclipsegsx the tuner is everything. IF your tuner sucks... you wont make power and your car will run like butt. I hope you were kidding with the 36awhp fuel pump comment

That must explain why aftermarket replacements struggle to pull 2-3 consistent HP on a mildly tuned motor.
