Nice numbers! But one would think that the 6765 which flows 90or91lbs per min would really outdo the 6262 which flows 75lbs per min. Is the 6765 bb or journal? I had the 6776rsp bb on my car stock head, ported stock im,65mm milspec tb,jay$ built 2.0l, stock ecu, stock maf strait 93oct and put down 524whp and 444wtq on Cbrd mustang heartbreaker. Turbo blew now I have 6765billet bb .82 on it and tuning speed density and e85. Car goes on dyno at Cbrd on Monday. Trying to get an idea of what I'm gonna put down. What where the iat temps between the two setups?

Quote: ^^ Probably around that area. Tonight was terrible. lol Almost took out the wall on one pass then almost crossed lanes on another. I got to stay in it once and went a 9.3@155 with a 1.65 60 foot. lol. I think we are done with the DOT tires now as it is starting to get dangerous.

Yeah Em. I definitely think you will like the slicks better. They are very consistent and feel very smooth off the line. Not to mention you will get way better 60'

Wow....a lot of idiots posting in this thread! Good luck Emery when you go back on some real tires. 160+ and 8's should be no problem.

Quote: So does that mean he's making less power than buschur on the HTA86? If I'm not mistaken, buschur made 712whp and 584tq (not sure on the boost). Or do not all Mustang dynos read the same either?
the mustang dyno can be manipulated to read too low and also to read just as high as a dynojet or even higher. Depends on how it is setup by the operator... this is why you rarely see any two mustang dynos reading the same. Dynojets may read a bit higher but they cannot be manipulated as such. That being said... numbers are really irrelevant. I'd take into account what STM has already run w/ their past figures from the same dyno and compare/anticipate their future passes from there.

ironic
Its funny how every 1 has an opinion about running an 8 or 9 when they dont tune cars or have not even gotten to lows 10's.Its better to remain silent and be thought of as a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

To even mention the word "manipulated" in reference to Buschur or STM is pure stupidity. These dynos, as well as many other mustang dynos, produce similar, maybe not the exact same, numbers as each other. So it would be a fair comparison with the two dynos but both cars are set up a little different. DB has tested and tested every possible combination of parts and he has what he believes to be the best for his needs. STM also has what they believe will meet their needs. Both cars are very similar in power and the hta86 is right inbetween the 6262 and 6765 based on what some vendors have seen and tested.

Ordered new slicks yesterday and we expect them to arrive in 2.5 weeks. I wanted to make sure they all matched so there is a little wait. The car will be going back on the dyno again soon with hopes of getting to 800 whp. Not sure its gonna make it, but we will try. While racing the other night we found a few small things to change and they should be done here very soon.
