My AFRs currently (and in the dyno) are ~11 - 11.5 from 4k +....I still am leaning it out in areas and will likely keep it at 11.5 throughout....

Why do you keep saying if you had better fmic? What makes you think a garrett core would be better than the ETS core (same size comparison) or are you feeling that you need a bigger core ?

For the record I have the ETS fmic and my tuner has the buschur garrett core. After tuning and data logging he loved and preferred the ETS more.

when i get my evo, it's gonna be a toss up between the green and the red, they're both great turbos, it's gonna be a tough decision

Search and you will find the answer to your question ...

Cliff notes : ETS 3.5" FMIC is good....3.8" Garret core is better

As far as your 'tuner' goes, I have no idea which Buschur FMIC he has....The old standard ones are OK...That said, the new BFMIC or whatever the heck they call it - well it is awesome.

Garrett 3.8 core <------> ETS 4.0

They are both great cores. Saying a 3.8 flows better then a 3.5 is to be expected, no?

how is the AMS FMIC compared to a Garret 3.8 core that CBRD uses? I didn't think with your set up it would make that much of a difference...but than again garret core is probably the most expensive out there...

Jalal - Yes I am on OEM headstuds and don't plan to change them until I take the head off the car.

As for comparing the HTA Green to BBK - I am in Del Mar a lot and can take you for a spin.
