Awesome results Bryan!
I have a question tho... Why is there such a HUGE difference between 3rd and 4th gears? Ive seen some of your overlays, that place the TQ curve almost identical, except for the spool difference... There is a major difference here.
Edit: re-read first post. I guess this is what a 2.3 does for ya?
Definitely in for some stock block results!!! And I would also, love to see a BBK overlay w/ a BBK-B...

3rd gear is making more power because the transmission is not in 1:1 ratio in 3rd gear. I'm not sure what the ratios are in an evo, but 4th should be close to 1:1, which shows how much power the engine actually makes, with out the help of the torque multiplication of gearing. if you dynoed a car in 1st gear, it would make ridiculous numbers, because 1st gear is probably over 4:1. that's why you dyno in the direct drive gear (1:1)
In this threads case, The dotted lines are 4th gear, solid are 3rd.
The lower gears spool later. I've done baselines in 2nd before just for kicks and it makes even the stock turbo look laggy.
Less load, less exhaust energy, later spool, less area under the curve, less peak torque, etc etc.
Peak hp usually the same if not very close, no matter the gear.
You'll notice in this car that the whole 4th gear power curve shifts to the left. torque is much earlier, peak hp is much earlier, etc.

No all the shops seem to think everyone has E85 readily available so its pointless with these dyno charts. A 91/92 dyno letting more power be had with say 93 and E85 would be better.

The customer runs E85 24/7 so I tuned it on E85 only.
I have countless other threads showing 91 and E85 overlays on the same car, on the same day if that is what you are looking for.
