EVO8, FP Black and pump gas.
This dyno typically reads about 13% less than a Dynojet. Mileage will vary greatly depending on driving style. On the highway at 55-65 mpg there shouldn't be any reason to not see 28 mpg. Trent's car, similar set up was getting as high as 31 mpg on his drives to work, which were done at 55-60 mph on country roads, 62 mile on way trips to get here. He'd fill his car in Akron, drive it responsibly and then fill it again when he got to the gas station next to our shop, this was just to check a few times how good it would get if he drove it easy. We've had multiple reports of 28 mpg from customers on highway trips. There's really no reason to have an EVO that gets poor mileage other than driving style, which is my problem! haha

that sounds very promising, do you think the injectors play a roll in fuel efficiency or is it strictly in the tune? in my last honda i gained about 2-3mpg just from switching to the ID 1000's over the rc 550's
This is my Evo and I can't wait to come pick it up next week! Dave you are about spot on but the only difference is that the car has your 272s not the gsc's anymore. The car made 420whp with an fp green and Q16 when it went 10.8 at 131mph. When I bought the car it had just received a fresh BR bottom end and I added quite a few mods but the big ones being a BR stage 3 head and an fp red. The car then made 465whp on pump/alky. I started getting some issues with the car pushing coolant a few months ago and after wasting a lot of money in head gaskets, head studs, and resurfacing the head I finally got fed up and just took it to Dan at Buschurs and let him figure it out. Finally the problem ended up being the block surface being out of wack so the problem was fixed along with fresh bearings, rings, and also freshened up the twin disk. I went ahead and ditched the alcohol kit and added ID2000s, BR double pumper, and BR fuel rail for E85 since I recently had a pump show up within a few miles of my house. Before the car went there I had installed a FP Black and a Shearer O2 dump also. Its very cool to see the car making 50 more whp on regular 93 octane than what it did with the fp green and race gas with the tune on kill mode lol. Also very cool to see its spooling close to what my fp red did and making 5 to 10 more whp than what it did on pump/alky. Now I can't wait for some warmer weather and to see what it can do on E85! I would love to see 550whp but we will see. Thanks for everything Dave. You know I appreciate all the work very much.
Great news for me! I didn't realize you had put our cams in the car! The spool up on the black is so good it's nearly not-explainable! I thought for sure it must have had a Red on it instead of a black. I believe this is the best spool I've seen on a Black and a 2 liter.
No thanks needed, we appreciate you bringing it in and running our parts on it!

Sweet numbers!!! I have pretty much same build except The BF 272's, BR Cop, AEM EMS, and ID2000. R those 4 parts responsible for the 88hp/65tq more @ wheels than my car. I feel I should of at least broke 400@ WHEELS.
What fuel are you on? And how much boost are you running?
why dont you just call david bushur or email him to help you figure out what the issue is. i am sure he would be willing to help you out.
