EVO8, FP Black and pump gas.

Dyno'd a car this morning that made great power on pump gas and thought I'd put the sheet up. The car has been around for a long time and use to belong to another customer. Way back before it was common to go fast on pump gas and stock style turbos this car ran 10.8 at 131 mph on the original FP Green, stock short block, stock head and pump gas with an SMC alky kit. That was at full weight and on street tires. The car has gone through some changes over the years.

It is now equipped with a BR Stage 3 shortblock, BR Stage 3 head, BR exhaust, BR Race FMIC, BF272 cams, ID2000cc injectors, BR double pumper, Forge manual boost controller, BR ported intake, BR 65mm TB, BR COP ignition, AEM EMS.

Below is the dyno sheet from this mornings tune. 30.2 psi peak boost. 20 psi hits at 3750 RPM, which is very good. At 7700 rpm the turbo is still holding 28.23 psi, so the boost is flat as the 30.2 is a bit of a bump in the middle of the run. AFR's are mid 11's.

The car layed down 469 whp and 400 ft lbs of torque.

Enjoy.

BTW, the dip in the chart is the point where the car hit 30.2 psi and was in a timing zone where I have it set up to pull timing back out.

What did the car hit on your dyno with a green and meth? I assume these are a bit better numbers. Thats surprisingly good spool, was this on GSC S2's?

by pump gas you mean 93 right? E85 is considered pump gas is some states. I just notice the larger injectors which is why i asked.

spool is quite uncharacteristic of a 2.0L black. 4th gear pull? If not, kudos to David for making that thing spool like a red
