Nice build thread! Congrats again. I understand about the spoiling factor when your on the street. I ran a modded c6z06 from a 2nd gear roll no break boosting, and he had the hit, and it spooled instantly and pulled hard right away. No side by side for a second just instant. If you have the rpms high enough it'll spool with no problem. I guess when people look at our graphs and have not driven our cars it does look pretty laggy! Lol! But those rpms go up quick as hell!

thanks Huy for the aem boost log...

since everyone uses 30psi as the measuring stick... it hits 30psi at about 6600-6700rpm or so. Obviously as the max boost rises, so does the spool curve. It raises up earlier as well.

i really liked my old 35r setup... it was a good street/strip setup. but im really starting to like having what seems to be infinite power up top. It just keeps going and going, lol.
I'm not sure if its the motor setup or if its the lack of backpressure from the large turbine, but it acts all motor off boost and has great driveability. Doesnt feel "laggy" its like an all motor car. Kind of hard to explain. even at idle it sounds all motor, lol.

but this is obviously a drag car setup... for the street i'd always recommend a 62mm turbo.

basically the car hits 28-29 psi by 6800rpm, 38psi by 7500 rpm and hold 39psi rock steady all the way to 10500rpm. People don't truly appreciate what it feels like with a 70mm turbo at 30 psi, it's much like 35 psi with a 61mm turbo.

Yeap... exactly. Spool is relative to your rpm max/redline.

i wish i had a video of the tach when on the dyno... its slow then around 6-7krpm it just swings to 10krpm in a split sec, lol...

Very nice results Huy Should be a very nice car at the track. I see no reason at all that you should see mid 15x's traps

If you come out this way I don't want none! I just can't imagine the pull of that badboy! Get one of those gps things and do a 60-130 run! Start about 52-55 mph breakboosting and punch it. The device will only start once you hit 60mph.

lol, well we took the car out for some logging last night and one of our friend wants a ride in it as well, so we ended up riding 3 deeps. From 40mph roll with 3 people the car still feel down right suicidal, it was all over the road all the way to 4th gear. It scared my friend in the back seat senseless, lol.
