I will be getting my new turbo back in the mail tomorrow. Robert had the turbo inspecting it after I beat the **** out of it and was quite shocked at how well it looked under the mirco scope.

I have also purchased or will be at the end of the week the below parts and will have the car back on the dyno by the end of the month.

1) 1.5" ToxicFab Manifold (My current record had stock manifold)
2) 3" ETS UICP (Current 2.5")
3) 75mm Boomba TB (Current MilSpec 65mm)
4) 3.5" ETS exhaust (Current 3")
5) 21psi Wastegate spring (Currently have a 11psi spring)
6) FIC 2150s
7) E98

Hope to have all these mods on the car and back on the dyno by the end of the month. Should be interesting with a turbo that is beyond its compressor map. I plan to push it to 45psi also

now that you have it all opened up tho im sure its capable of more airflow and shaft speeds since theres less airflow restrictions. the e98 should give some more hp since it will keep the charge even cooler

the 3.5" exhaust will help big time also. that is something im actually interested in myself. the 75mm TB im interested to see how that does also since you have the big magnus v5.

When is enough enough though? i think you need an HTA86 on that **** lol. im surprised FP hasnt told you that yet

I would wait until the weather gets colder to shoot for a higher record number tho.. its not worth overspinning the turbo to not reach the goal.. i guarantee if you wait until it gets colder in the winter and with your new current mods you will probably make upwards of 760whp+.
You are correct, more boost doesn't always mean more power however, I was still making good power per lbs up to 40psi.

Who knows, I may not make any more power. But the car will be much more effiecent at lower boost levels. I would be happy with 700whp on 30psi.

After all these mods are done and tested on the Black, the black will be getting retired for a forward facing 3794.

WHAT! that is a huge *** turbo! are you sure you want to go right up to that? why not a hta86 with a tial vband? 3794 you must be getting really greedy

but yes i agree. you will have a safe 700whp setup no doubt after the new mods are on the car. wouldnt surprise me if it does it under 35psi. your setup has a great combination of parts.

Awesome!!! Once the car is up and running again I will make a special trip down to VA, haha. With the new mod list, and like Tom said, once it gets colder, I don't see you having a problem hitting 800whp or pretty damn close to it!

Thanks BJ. We need to get together. Maybe weekend trip to SC (aka party time)

I ran it at 640whp and ran 10.6 @ 137 w/ 225 street tires. I didn't launch the car and granny shifted all gears but 4th gear synchro is out so it was like a 3 sec shift between 3rd&4th.

I would like to get it to the track this season but the car is getting put back together now, and then to the paint booth. We will see... Car shouldn't have a problem running 9sec.

crazy $#!t. I'm down a few spare vehicles so I'm not in any position to go for more power. Next year I'll be shooting for 8500 daily with a bigger turbo if the car stays together.
