I like the "yet" comment. I'm curious to see one in an Evo if you can take a snap shot; beats my imagination. I know I should search this but are you on the AEM v2 or the Haltech?

Not sure if JDM EVO can benefit from TRE stuff through
Yes absolutely correct when I ordererd my transfer case from sheptrans I had to specify with ayc. Cusco going on soon so hopefully better times

With the seat I found the heaviest part is the actual slider (have 2 * sparco evo3 model in car) so if someone makes a light weight slider it will sell like hotcakes hehe

Oh and Dave is on Haltec cos thats what I got too hehe
A coincidence really but seriously haltec is great plus head office is half hour up the road from me hehe

haha ridiculous! I can't imagine using this car in an autoX event!

IF I decide to put on in the Bad Bish I would powder coat the aluminum to match the interior and run the padding too. I think it would look bad *** in there and knock close to 50 pounds out of the car.

I may just do the seats in the car once these new removable harness bars are done we are making.
Very interested to see if you use the seat and this new removable harness bar!

22 lbs is pretty good...My NRG carbon fiber seat is 20 lbs with brackets but no slider. Seat is comfortable too, I've had it in the car for 4 yrs and lots of long trips, South Carolina to New Jersey plenty of times...

Just finished the suspension up on the car. I had to swap the front springs.

I also checked my notes. The stock EVO8 front seat is 36.9 pounds. The Kirky with padding and mounts will be about 26 pounds. For a 10 pound saving I'm leaving the EVO9 seats in the car I just put in it. I wish it would stop freaking raining!

Wow I didnt know the 9 seats were that exact weight.
They are extremely comfortable tho.
What ur front springs rated at?

Hey Dave you not by any chance interested in competing in the world time attack held this year at sydney I reckon you would stand a great chance in the clubsprint class (ie. road registered class) sierra sierra came last year and they came second overall but in open class tho.

NO IDEA what I meant by TIME suspension testing! haha I edited it to SOME! haha sheesh, I need to sleep!

olmoscd, right now my thought is the weight savings isn't worth it. When I get the Eclipse back from having the cage put in it and race it I may change my mind. If the seat proves to be as comfortable as it seems and holds me in place I may still change them. I like the stock look though, so we will see.

Dave I'm loving the 2.3 so far but Ohio's weather is not permitting me to enjoy it. When I drove home it was sweet! But its hibernating in the garage till the sun comes out.

My car is no Time Attack car, coming to Sydney though is on my list of things to do, as a matter of fact it's my daughters name.

The seat isn't in the EVO yet. I bought the floor mounting kit from Kirky for the Eclipse. I've got work to do to the RS today and may get motivated enough to pull the drivers seat out and try the Kirky in it while I am back there. I'd use a seat slider on the seat if I put it in the EVO, for the Eclipse it will be a fixed mount.
Yeap,i am on highboost
How i wish i can get rid of this gay screen name
@tupac1,so you are running ayc with cusco diff??Why not just get rid of AYC altogether?
How i wish i have an EVO now
