Hate to be that guy but it is funny how everyone else in the past that has tested the megan style manifold has lost spool and midrange which completely negated the minor peak gains of that style manifold but when you guys test it you lose nothing and gain 20+whp. Even your long runner manifold gained spool and midrange. Very skeptical about your testing.

And I was there the whole time monitoring. I was careful with observing the testing considering it was my car. As far as the spool goes it's quite late on my car to begin with. Seeing that it is a 2.0 w/ ported head and giant cams.
Maybe it's also the reason the Megan cost's $200 and this costs $900?

I am thinking about which manifold would be best with BBK-full turbo running on
E-85. I think I should consider the short runner versus the ported one.
I mainly autocross with my Evo and will occasionally take it to the track, so maybe I should just port my stock manifold.

Doesn't appear that they tested a Megan style manifold.

The "Map Short Runner" manifold is definitely a megan replica as all others are megan replicas. Nothing about that manifold has changed since Marco from Billet design fab'd it up back in 03. Their is always a give and take in manifold designs yet any thread I ever see you guys dyoing parts you never see the "give." This is why manufacturer testing is completely biased and can't be accounted for. Also if MAP really did fabricate these then why would an American company design a manifold with anti-lag ports on the manifold that are only found on jdm and euro style evo's. Come on now open your eyes.
Additionally, you can see boost and AFRs. All the runs were done same day, what are your doubts about our testing?

The "give" is the "not outrageous gains up top" correct? The "take" is midrange power gains. The testing seems sound to me and no claims were made that are false. Geat job MAP! Thank you for the info!
