Buschur Tuned - HX40 / E85

I took my car over to David Buschur to get tuned. The car is very strong and runs excellent. My experience over at Buschur Racing was top notch! I couldn't have been happier.

We tested the fuel to check its true ethanol content (with this little guy I bought http://bit.ly/igQI5U) before beginning, it was about 75-76%.

542\463 - 33.7psi

Holset HX40; Bullseye T3 .70a/r hotside
BR Race FMIC / Piping
BR SD Exhaust
BR Double Pumper
PTE 1200's
Kelford 272's
Tial 50mm BOV
Tial 44mm WG
Exedy Twin HD
Stock ECU/MAF
Stock Ignition
Stock Block/Head
Stock Intake Mani/Throttle body

This was fourth gear

3'rd gear pull during tuning (had to swap the plugs after this). I think we were in the upper 400's here.

Thanks! it's definitely a fun setup. I hope to make it to the track when it opens April 3'rd.

Injectors were PTE1200's (sorry, forgot to list them)

Haha, crack me up man, I just sent you a PM a few minutes ago asking if you'd mind if I made a post about your car!

Glad to see you are happy with everything. The car runs darn strong and is one of the highest HP stock ECU/stock engines I've had on the dyno. The stock MAF worked out great and your results were pretty stellar.

As we discussed, more injector and boost it would have been easy to make more. Neither of us saw any sense in going past the 95-96% IDC's we stopped at.

Thanks for bringing it down.

Haha yeah I just literally beat you to it.

I really couldn't be happier, it was more then I was expecting. It will make for a great season. In the future I'll be going with your ported intake manifold, throttle body, and some ID2000's

And thank you, it was a pleasure.

Thats great power man! Should be a real fun car. How do you think the stock block will hold up to that kind of power?

Thanks, it sure is

I think it will hold up real well with the combination of its solid tune and Brad Penn's 10w40 oil (I may switch to the 20w50, not sure yet). The motor has 26,000 original miles on it right now.

The t-bolt clamp wasn't tightened, but I think I had to use a 2.75 to 2.5 bender reducer there (i can't remember, reused the coupler off my old HX35 setup). Not even sure what the inside diameter is lol.
