415 on the James Reese MD dyno using M2's with the stock 9 turbo? I don't believe that, you must be talking about some other dyno, or didnt list the full mod's, but even then.....

Good to know. Sounds like my boost is all good, just need to work on the timing. What kind of timing are you running at peek torque?

so I have been playing with the timing very slowly to ensure that I am seeing HP/TQ changes everytime I adjust the timing. I have the car up to about 370hp/365tq. I still have some more work to do with the afr, and I will continue to play with the timing.

I dont know if the car has another 30 foot pounds in it. Motor has 120k on it. But the car is running very well. I will be hitting the 1/4mile next weekend to see what kind of time I can clip off.

I am also leaving the boost at 28psi, not going to go any further than that. It looks like other people are running up to 32psi, but I do want the motor to last as long as possible .

Anyhow for anyone that gave me good info, thanks.

26-28 is the most efficient for the stock 9 turbo.

Its always good to be cautious on a high mileage stock block, stock turbo or not. One wrong move and you could weaken the rings.

I bet you could hit 380+whp with the current setup.

My last run today netted 370/377. Boost remains at 28psi. I left my peek boost timing alone, added a little bit at peek torque, and just a little bit to the top. The afr is starting to clean up, that seems to be helping also, I just need to tweak my O2 feedback, that is what is causing the wave in my afr trace.

Also I set up the NLTS and wow that is just nuts. So with the 2step and NLTS I am going to have some fun at the race track.

I remember when I used 2 step on AEM for the first time. All my friends thought it was the craziest thing in the world.

Hell it blew a damn chunk out of the pavement at village inn first time I showed it to everyone.

100 oct from Sonoco here in fla i had my ix at 34 psi. for a few weekends.

E85 I would have been on that all the time.

Man the stock turbo is so much fun. When you upgrade to a larger turbo, its still fun, but everyone falls in love with that 3500 rpm hit on the stocker

Car seems to be running good Boz.

So the car ran:
1st: 12.389@117.64
2nd: 12.037@117.33
3rd: was about the same as the first.

So the car is running pretty good, car was running about 27psi, and the 2step was at 6k and 12psi for the first run, and 5k and 8psi for the second, and 4.5k and 8psi for the 3rd run.

I figure the MPH was about maxed out for the HP, so to go much faster with MPH it is all about some more boost. But super happy with the results.

Dang i missed this thread all together Boz. Congrats man! I would try what Aby said, Get you some gears and play with those. But, beware that just because the gears "line up" dont mean they are the same as the stock ones. I would degree your cams first them swap gears and adjust them the same. Make some pulls to verify that it runs the same. Then retard the cams and see what you think. Also beware that retarding the cams cam sometimes bring on detonation so keep an eye on the knock voltage bro.

So I have updated my thread on the aem power forums with the most recent cal file and a new log file. I also ran a 3rd gear pull to confirm the power. So attached is the most recent VD Screen.

The power is right where it needs to be. The boost on the pull was right at 28.5psi.

I pick up my cam gears on Monday, and I should have them installed over the weekend. I also went to the race track this weekend and the car is in the 11's now(11.94@117.47).

I did try to up the boost to 32psi, however it netted about 5-7whp gain. So I think it is time for an intercooler upgrade. That stock one will not let me flow anymore through it. My AITs stayed pretty good. So boost is back down at 28psi.
