I had no issues with my PTE 1000s... but I am now on FIC 1250s with e85.

I've got the PTE 1000's in my car, and my car runs great. The idle is like stock. Never had any issues with them at all.

Mine runs great after I dialed them in correctly.

Nothing that I've noticed with the PTE 1000s. What sort of problems are you having with the FIC 1150s?

Not 100% sure the injectors are the issue but my hunch is they are. Issues consist of bad hot starts (car used to crank and crank until it finally fired up with a back fire...Chad made this much better but not like stock at all), lots of "phantom knock" shown by lots of flashing CELs daily yet zero knock on the dyno, RPMs dropping almost to the point of stalling when inching up in traffic or to a stop sign, particuarly on steep hills for some reason. Before all this I also had issues with the spark blowing out, even gapped to 0.019". Went from BPR to BR iridium plugs and the SpoolinUp kit and it fixed that. Perfect at 0.024" now. But just lots of driveability issues after the BBK and supporting mods (huge injectors in particular) were added.

Have you been logging your car while street driving? The data may help isolate the problem. Could it be the gas you normally use?

Don't own a lap top. But this is one of many reasons I may have to break down and get one this winter. I don't always go to the same gas station. I just run 93 from anywhere that has it. Seems to always be the same issue no matter where I get gas from. For now I am going to live with it. It is way better since Chad tinkered with it here a few weeks ago as compared to the initial tune in late March. I have plans for a 60k mile service, Kelfords, IM & TB, ARPs, etc here in the spring so at that point I will just drop the car off and let Chad take as long as he needs to get it all sorted out right. Also think for peace of mind going to sell the FIC 1150s and pick up some PTE 1000s as everyone seems to agree they work well. I will say that the FICs do not have the protruded tip that goes into the fuel rail as far as the stock injectors or PTEs from what I've seen. For what that's worth...
