Hi all..
this is mine result with this configuration:
gtx 3071 on stock location
stock block
tomei 272 cams
26psi boost
I think this turbo can be able of 520-530hp with 34 psi of boost, so like the older gt3076 not "X" with our experience... but the spool is not so good, maybe my other car with 2.3 stroker and gt35r on T3 flange spool more faster (if i can i post that dyne on monday).

P.s. The Hp is flywhell hp and the torque is in Kgm, of course the boost is barometric but at 1.7bar it's like your's 26psi ;-)

Thanks for posting this info. The GTX3071 with T3 4-bolt 2.5 inch outlet turbine housing is one way I might go with my car.
Can you tell me how they came up with flywheel horsepower? Basically, if they did this with your car on a chassis dyno, they would be measuring wheel horsepower, then using some assumed conversion factor to convert the wheel hp to flywheel hp, right? If that's what they did, could you find out what the conversion factor is that they used? Then I can get back to wheel hp with it.
Thanks

for twin scroll, that is really slow to spool
did you check to make sure the wastegate isn't leaking?

I got much better result from this turbo, have a look here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/9665739-post31.html
In my opinion you have some problem with camshaft settings.

My car has a 2.3 in it but the engine is currently being installed. I also have a 58 trim (30R) turbo. I was on stock block with the same turbo+bR intake manifold+tb. Ran nice

Really good question, i work every day on this dyno, basically it's a eddy current type, the graph on the first post shows flywheel power and torque, an the last curve on bottom shows the dissipated power, so basically we can talk about 400 whp of a low reading dyno like, as example, the Buschur's one, we have no conversion settings variable by the operator, the dyno software uses a barometric station for compensating, that's all.....Originally Posted by Talonboost

Just for having a comparison data i can tell that, as average, stock evo form 6 to 8 show about 215/218 hp at the wheels, 9 GSR about 210 and 9 rs about 220, on this dyno....

any other supporting mods other than Tomei 272? o2 housing, downpipe, cat, exhaust, etc?? or is everything stock?
thanks

The car runs with a full Fujitsubo RM-01 exhaust system, no cats, 1150 injectors, aem series 2 ecu with map conversion.
In my opinion, again, the bottle neck is the exhaust housing design, especially regarding the retarded spool, as regards power, considering the relatively low boost and the 93 oct fuel is not that bad, on a more aggressive timing map, with a little more boost 550 hp are a realistic goal.....

what about downpipe? o2 housing? stock exhaust (turbo) manifold right?Originally Posted by giangi
