looks like a fun *** ride, if i was in your customers position id keep the first tune you had with it, **** anything over 400 in our cars is one hell of a fun dd. Good thing you guys get that cold ambient temps in winter, and good 93 octane at the pump.
ill admit tscomp, your building one good rep for yourself, and at the same time of making good hp/tq for your customers cars your leavin some margin for longevity on the table. mad props man. i just wish all people in this industry would take special care like that, because the customer is the most important person to a business. Takes 10 customers to make a decently good name for yourself, but 1 bad customer to mess up the publics opinion of you for months to a year.

For those having trouble deciding between spool and top end in choosing a turbo, I honestly can't feel the difference between 430 whp and 470 whp. I can ABSOLUTELY feel the difference between 390 wtq and 430 wtq. Low-end torque is what makes the car feel fun, not top end.

Oh well. Too many horror stories floating around here to push it on my daily tune. My block doesn't need any more ventilation.

Thanks Tom.

Yup!! Your power under the curve is a lot higher than many people sacrificing spool on the stock block with larger turbos. I don't see the point in running anything larger than a BBK-Full or HTA Green on the stock block. 390 wtq is plenty on the street also and will be a lot safer in the long run. At least until you get bored and decide to build the motor.

No offense meant... but I highly doubt it. You have extremely high numbers, in fact, far higher than I would ever run on a stock block, but as my focus is road racing, so I run the car for 25+ min at WOT and transient response is a very high priority. I can't imagine you are hitting those numbers on 93 octane/stock block without massive lag.

I bet that thing feels like a H22A powered hatch from 3500-7000 rpm with the boost continually climbing like that....which I'd personally be very happy with.

My car your right isn't a road racing car. It use to be but as for on 93 I believe I made 519 whp on pump or somewhere in that ball park if I remember correctly I don't have the log anymore and the car felt about the same . Tom knows how to spool a turbo, the car isn't very laggy to me at all. Now to Tom being he is use to a bb turbo or a stock housing type of turbo such as what fp uses. My turbo is way not the same. So to say its really laggy thats up to you but I don't think its laggy at all.

You still have nothing to sneeze about dude.
A ~4k powerband over 300wtq is impressive!

Torque kills rods though. I'd start saving for a forged lump be alot cheaper than a big hole in your block.

Congrats! Looks similar to my old BBK build. 94 octane, 29psi = 450whp Such a great pump gas turbo for sure.

Actually tq doesn't kill the rods it kills the oem rod bolts, knock kills pistons and puts holes in your block.

Sorry it's not the bolts. It has even been proven that replacing them for stronger ones can actually make things worse. Torque/Revs snaps rods end of story.
