built motor BBK Full 420tq/485whp

Spoiler alert: I still have a cat, and I'm on the stock clutch, so I consider this round 1 results. Current mods:

English Racing drop-in build :: cardboard cold air box :: Amsoil cone filter :: ETS v2 LICP :: Synapse DV :: MIL.SPEC TB seals :: MAP Rev3 IM :: HKS 272/278 cams :: ER ported head :: Ported BBK Full :: MAP Short Runner EM :: MAP O2 Eliminator DP :: MIL.SPEC 100 cps cat :: RRE Stealth Stainless :: Rewired Walbro :: Wilson fuel rail :: FIC Bosch 1100s :: GM BCS :: SpoolinUp COP :: E85

Lower tq/whp plot is the base tune with ultra conservative timing and a bit less boost.

Thanks much to English Racing for their expertise in the 4G63 motor.

January 14 Update
I've added the datalog that corresponds to the dyno run. Most interesting item for me is the exhaust manifold pressure. Really shows when the turbo starts getting clogged up.

Woot! My old BBK is still pluckin! How many miles are on that thing now? It just doesn't give up!!!

Epic powerband; that's the stuff dreams are made of. Still can't believe you and your stock clutch!

I love the BBK Full. I've contemplated an HTA Green, but I think the BBK Full is the perfect balance between power and powertrain longevity. Agree on the epic powerband - full boost at 3700 rpm if I want it. Still grabbing with the stock clutch means that I've never launched - total ***** in the Evo world.

Awesome #'s mrfred, congrats!
I've been following your build for a while, once you free up the bottlenecks you should be able to extract even more out of it...(testpipe, SD, etc)
always top notch results from ER

mrfred,

Nice numbers for sure. I'm sure you'll gain a lot of tq with a test pipe and a few hp. Nice choice on manifold and ER to do it all of course. QUestion, do you have the 02 eliminator with a dump or using the tial w/g?

Mrfred, take into account that the cat is also a factor for exhaust manifold pressure as well... anything that can hinder exhaust flow I would assume drive up the turbines back pressure which would result in an increase in exhaust manifold pressure... that is just my idea of thought...

That short runner, MAP,GT Spec, tomioka exhaust manifold isn't helping the power potential. I thought you were using a good one like the Toxicfab or FID I know you had them at one time.
